That is not a logical assumption at all. He may very well be hoping to gain monetarily from all of this, but he is not going to gain anything by lying to the NCAA. If he was merely threatening to speak to the NCAA in hopes of extorting money from Tunsil or some UM boosters then I would agree with you, but he already had a meeting with the NCAA.

He might be lying, but the fact that he may have sold pictures of himself to TMZ does not reflect on his credibility at all.

most people don't get caught because the people involved keep quiet and don't let a paper trail get out. This situation, like Gurley, is very unusual in the fact that one party that may or not be directly involved in impermissible conduct is wanting to spill everything. Dude is clearly acting like a scorned woman, but if I were an Ole Miss fan I wouldn't be pulling the wool over my eyes like you seem to be doing. I'd be pretty worried at the uncertainty of what this guy might have. It's not like he;s some random guy. He's Tunsil's stepfather. He's pissed off. And he could be willing to say anything at this point. If you admit you know y'all cheated to get Tunsil (as you stated earlier), why are you taking solace in the fact that the NCAA didn't find anything last time? Tunsil's step father wasn't wanting to bury him last time. No one knows what he actually knows or has on Tunsil or what will will stick. But, for him being as close to the situation as he is, I'd be very concerned right now.

And just fyi, his prior DV charges are completely irrelevant in terms of possible recruiting violations. They probably aren't even admissible in a criminal trial either. It's likely going to be hearsay given it's just a charge, the fact it wasn't a felony, and prior convictions are only admissible if they occurred within the last 10 years. And that is just a brief outline of the federal rules of evidence pertaining to prior bad acts. (rule 609)

I just want to know why you think this. He's about as close to Tunsil as you can be. If anyone has evidence, he does. Why are you so confident?

or maybe he was pissed Hugh Freeze, more or less, called him a wife beater to a national audience. Maybe he wants to clear his name, as misguided as his strategy was. there are plenty of explanations for why he could have done what he did.
