The guy has worked absolute wonders at Bama. It's like people forget what how anemic and prone to stalling our offense got in the previous 30 freaking years
You are right, BUT Bama has also had GREAT talent during that time, including one of the best offensive lines in SEC history.
In this age of football where defenses are having to get smaller and faster to combat spread attacks, I just dont think its a good idea to drift away from the power running game that started this whole run.
McCarron had his best statistical offensive season at Alabama in 2013. The team had its worst season of his three starting years in 2013.

You lost on a fluke play and then you lost a BCS bowl.
It's not like you lost to Vanderbilt. You don't know what LOSING REALLY IS! I KNOW! I KNOW ALL TOO WELL!

Hate to say it but I think the playcalling against A&M/LSU last year and VT/AU/OU this year would have been better with Kiffin calling the shots.

Did Kirby Smart only give Henry eight carries? That bastard!
No he only gave up 45 points. Good luck trying to top 45 points by pounding the rock all game.
OU wouldnt have had the chance to put up that many points if Bama had been slowing down the tempo of the game and eating clock. My grandmother knows that.

Those Alabama fans that went through the Shula years know very well what losing looks and feels like.

I agree we should have ran it in from the 6yl but Lacy had just received a concussion on the series before ( helmet to helmet not called ) so Lacy was not available.

It's just frustrating to watch our OC go full retard in close games.

Yeah, well we're even worse.
You can be damn sure that if Tennessee ever wins 11 games again I'm not calling for anyone's arse.

That's the biggest difference. If we didn't have Nuss, we lose at least 3 games this year instead of 2, and 2 or 3 in 2012. Fact.

There is no way in hell Kiffin will work for Saban. We will look like an episode of jerry springer on the side line instead of the stands.

Is this where Alabama fans change their opinion of him and champion him as a great hire?

Many Alabama fans would have said the same thing in 2004. But entitlement doesn't take long to set in when the bar has been set so high.

I think it's CLEARLY on the defense. The things Oklahoma was doing to Alabama's linebackers and secondary merited a graphic content warning. How anyone can blame the offense is beyond me.

YOU don't seem particularly entitled. I just hope if Tennessee returns to its winning ways some day that I remember how much the last several years have sucked.

I was in college during the Shula era if that tells you anything. I was at the OT game where Alabama couldnt stop Tennessee on 4th and 17 to ice the game and missed a game winning field goal. Tennessee won that game.
I was at the 98 game where Shaun Alexander missed a touchdown pass that would have completely changed that game. Another painful loss to UT.
I remember seeing Arkansas drub Alabama 42-7 as well as losses to La Tech(twice), UCF, Northern Illinois, Kentucky, and La Monroe.
Just so you know

But I just don't get how you can be mad at the offensive coordinator given the fact that y'all were scoring a LOT of points this year. The defense, I could understand.
Hell, LSU fans love John Chavis. Ask Tennessee fans what we think of John Chavis, especially in the 2001 SEC Championship. THAT was entitlement. Chavis wasn't perfect, he didn't always call a great game, but no coach does. No matter how good Saban is (and I genuinely think he's the best), even HE fricks up.

There's a lot of wisdom to this. UT's offense was outrageously fast (one of the fastest in the NCAA) and prolific in 2010-2012 but that same offense cost us games because we couldn't keep our defense, which was already our weak spot, off the field. More than one game was lost that because we didn't run the ball more and control the clock. Scoring in 1 minute 30 isn't always good thing.

Meh, if we run it on the goal line against A&M last year, we might have scored.

Is it so hard to hope that Nuss gets a feel for our offense against their defense? Please give me one good reason why Henry had 8 carries. I'll wait.
