Proves my theory that noone wants to go up against Saban. They are all content to be millionaires on the outskirts and bang hot co-eds rather than step up to the plate and take on the big dog at Bama. And I, for one, can't blame them.

And you know he can recruit the hell out of the state of Florida.

He'll get his share, but no doubt the job was made more difficult with Charlie Strong going to USF and Butch Davis to FIU.

I suspect Kiffin learned some things while working with Saban. He might end up doing very well as a HC, now that he has grown up.

As far as I'm concerned, the rumors about Kiffin not being allowed by Saban to come back are nothing more than that...speculation by media people and message board posters.

Believe what you want to believe. Phil Savage said it and he would know a lot more about it than you.

Chris Low ?@ClowESPN I'm told that Lane Kiffin plans to remain as Alabama's offensive coordinator throughout the College Football Playoff

We'll see about that. Kiffin isn't what I'd call a "team player"

Pretty good article (long)...

Chris Lowe|ESPN-SEC: Lane Kiffin begins his second act as a head coach. Is he ready?

Meh. Didn't need him. Orgeron was smart to not hire him.

He keeps making the right decisions.

No. It isn't a Kiffin only rule. He doesn't allow any assistants or true freshmen speak with the media unless it's contractually obligated, like at championship games or bowls. It keeps a singular message from the team, and makes for fewer distractions.
