I'm gonna have a hard time with the hire, knowing the pure unadulterated evil spouts I threw his way while he was with the hillbillies. However, I think we are probably the best fit for him in the SEC.
If he stays quite, and does a decent job, this can do nothing but help resurrect his career. But, to be honest, I could give a shite about his career. The big question is: can he still coach an offense and win games? That is what I care about most.

Hypocrisy? Nah. Maybe some backpedalling, and maybe some looking at the situation through crimson tinted glasses. Stop the presses.
I'm sure if you really wanted to look hard enough you could find Bama fans pre-'07 talking shite about Saban and his reputation for being a douchebag at LSU and/ or reveling in his failure as an NFL coach. No one really gives a shite now though as long as he is winning games. I suspect the same will be true for Kiffin if he does that here.

Maybe Saban likes his wife? The new candy?

dude, no fricking shite, EVERYBODY in the SEC hates him.
Now he's apart of our famjam. It is what it is. He's our's now. Welcome to the family, Lane.

Ole Kiffin must have naked pictures of someone high up in the Bama decision making process.
It would really explain his entire career of falling up. Kiffin is probably good at two things: recruiting thugs and blackmail. It's really the only logical explanation.

More likely she fricks everyone in every team her husband has ever been to. I'd be heavily shocked if both of them were actually loyal to the other. Loose Layla's reputation proceeds her.

Holy Shite, why does this rep still persist????
Because of USC 2005?
As a USC homer, who has watched every Kiffin called game from 2010-2013....the guy is freakin' insanely terrible.
He doesn't have a rhyme or reason as to why he calls things - there is not rhythm to his offense...it's helter-skelter lame arse play that doesn't work after another.
He thinks being a genius is calling one neat play a game...and setting it up with an entire game of ineptitude for that trick play...
Maybe he'll put the QB #s on your punter...for that one big shining moment when you're down 25 to Auburn and Lane pulls off his big coup for a TD...to finish with 18 points and another loss.
Good luck - couldn't have happened to nicer people.

I'm just imagining how long you spent searching the forums looking for this stuff.

Lane Kiffin; has your opinion of him changed? Let's take a look in the past:

Meh. If he turns out to be a bad hire, I don't think you will find anyone trying to spin it.
Name the last place that hired him where it was a good hire.
The only reason why he was a bad hire in Knoxville was because he left in the middle of the night. Most Vol fans...when speaking among themselves and not trying to save face on the Rant...say that if Kiffin was still there they would be kcking arse and winning championships.

And that's your problem. We all saw 2009 when Tennessee's offense averaged over 100 yards a game more than the year before, Montario Hardesty became a beast, and Kiffin took a shitty QB like Jonathan Crompton and turned him into a damn good SEC quarterback.

The last time he was an OC
If that's true then Kiffin hasn't been a "good hire" since 2005; nearly a decade ago...

There sure are a lot of threads about Kiffin. Grats on the BCSNCG.

Why? Kiffin isn't our head coach. Last time I checked, we still have the best coach of his generation on the sideline.
