Broken record here.

How would Alabama have done without Derek Henry and Calvin Ridley for the year? While you're at it, take Stewart out for 5 weeks, your starting FB/3rd RB out for 4 games, your 4th RB(Now your #2) out for the season, remove two promising WRs expected to contribute from the team and lean on your running game with your backup as the feature back while learning a new offense.

That, of coarse is just the offense. Many more injuries on D.

8-4ish.

Dan Enos says hi.

Toledolololol

Alabama lost Drake for about three games, lost our #1 receiver coming into this year for the season in week three (Robert Foster) I believe, was without center Ryan Kelly for a bit, and Chris Black transferred.

Just saying, every team goes through injuries.

He's done one heck of a good job.

I'm surprised his name hasn't been tossed around for a high profile HC job. He would be my first call.

Listen, I'm not comparing Arkansas to Alabama. You mouth breathers are the gold standard in CFB right now, and own us. That is, however, my point. You have a sickening amount of talent and one of the best coaches in the history of the sport. With the injuries we had this year, you are possibly a 4 loss team, yet we somehow underachieved and was overrated. This was a very good football team with alot of talent poised to make a run at the western crown.
You lost Drake, not your bell cow. You lost your number one Wr, not your top 3 at the same tine, without your best RB to lean on. Alex Collins is the best backup tailback in the nation, but JWILL was alot of the reason that duo was ranked the best in the nation preseason by NFL.com.

He is good enough that he got head coaching gigs at Tennessee, USC and in the NFL with da Raiders. That should say enough. He seems to have gotten his swollen head under control and I think Saban had a lot to do with that. I surly thought it would be a cluster frick when he was going to Bama. Those two ego maniacs I thought for sure would kill each other.

I agree as well in the fact that I am very surprised his name is not being thrown around much. Maybe he is coach in waiting at Bama or he really enjoys being an OC. Some guys are just not cut out to be a HC.

He's done well. Offensive coordinator is his niche.

It is easy to be the best OC when you are at Bama. They reload they do not have off seasons.

That's a different story line than the one I remember from the preseason. Considering the QB situation along with all of the losses at the skill positions and the o-line, I'd have to say that Bama overachieved just like last year.

Alabama is awful on 3rd downs and has too many negative plays. Kiffin is inconsistent. He is Bill Walsh one week and Dave Rader the next. I will say his time at Alabama has corresponded with some of the worst O-line play in the Saban era. He has worked miracles around that shite show.

Christobal has pissed me off going on 3 yrs now.

Indeed. The most prevalent LSU thought was that while your defense would be very strong, your offense would not be able to do much, if anything, and that a couple of hard-fought LSU scores would ensure victory.

Yea, nobody even mentions the fact that we lost our #1 wide receiver, who was off to a very solid start, during the Ole Miss game for the year.

Better question.

I think he's the best in the country, and here is why. He replaced 8 starters on offense including 3 OL's and Amari Cooper and has this team in the NCG.

it's pretty obvious the offense had very little to do with that that bama D though 32.8 ppg for LSU.. 34.4 ppg for Alabama.. and Bama didn't have to play their own D.

Bama was #19 in the country in plays ran.. 1,117 plays.. and #51 in yards/game.. 423.8 yds/gaame. LSU was #39 in yards/game (437.3 yd/game) and #120 in plays ran (783 plays).

LSU offense wasn't very good.. and it's comparable to Bamas.

Lets see...should i hand off to my 5 star RB or throw a hail mary to my 5 star WRs. How about my 5 star TE. Nawww, i'll just run it behind my 5 star OL...and if i frick up a few drives, my 5 star defense will hold them and i will get another shot

Bama didn't play the 128th, 126th, 109th, or 79th ranked rushing defenses. L5U did.

Actually, the four worst rushing defenses LSU played were: 128, 109, 103, 92

Bama played: 114, 103, 92, 70

The number of top 25 rushing defenses Bama played: 4
LSU:4

False.

Updated rushing defense rankings that LSU faced.

128th Eastern Michigan

127th Texas Tech

99th South Carolina

92nd Syracuse

These are the teams L5U racked up retarded numbers against that over inflated its offensive numbers and boogers rushing yards.

Booger rushed for 200 plus against the absolute worst 2 rushing defenses in America plus Syracuse who ranked 92nd and Auburn who ranked 76th. (Snicker)

Yeah, no.

Total offense

Alabama 35th

L5U 58th

Just a mere 23 spots different.

Your defense
quote:

has this team in the NCG.

Last year, yeah it was the offense.

This years offense scored:
27 against Arkansas
19 against Tennessee
29 against Auburn
29 against Florida

Last year your offense scored 40+ in seven games, this year only twice have you hit 40+.

This is actually probably Kiffins worst offense since arriving at Bama. It's either deep to Ridley or handoff to Henry. No one really fears Drake so the one-two punch in the backfield isn't there. Coker is not as good as McCarron and can't run like Blake did. And Ridley, while great, is no Coop.

So once more, Kiffin did not lead you to a championship game this year. He rode your defenses coat tails there.

Is Kiffin good? Yeah.
The best OC in America? Nope.
