congrats to them. Lacy is fun as hell to watch. I look forward to seeing him in the pros.

lol, these LSU early entry melts have been fricking fantastic.

I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. I could care less about LSU's early entries. Mingo and Montgomery are top 15 picks. They were gone anyway. Faulk didn't even play this year. The rest of them? I am glad they are leaving except for Logan and Minter, who I hoped would come back. Reid, Simon, Ware, and Ford are all replaceable and their performance dropped off mightily this year, especially toward the end of the season.

LSU's defense at the end of the season was almost bad overall. The guys that are leaving that we were surprised by can be replaced. The others, we knew were leaving all season long.

See, no meltdown. I'm fine.

Les tells recruits that he will get them to the NFL. There are still 2 draft eligible players on the LSU roster that haven't declared for the draft. Therefore, Les is selfish and doesn't care about what's best for his players.

Not everyone knows this but pro teams keep up with the number of carries a college back has

That's amazing! If only others had this info and decided to share it with the free world. We could call it "stats" and share it with everyone on the internet across multiple sites.

We could even use those "stats" to decide who sets and holds "records".

Genius!

Yep. That makes sense. Keep going, you're picking up steam.

Bama has 3 guys go pro and Saban says he hopes that that's it. Miles has 10 guys go pro and he says that that is why they come to LSU and he is happy for them.

Yes, definitely equivalent situations.

I just think it's greedy of the NFL to keep that info such a secret.

I can only imagine it because Bama plays SEC East juggernauts like Tennessee, Kentucky, and Mizzou every year.

way to hold true to the delusional lsu fan stereotype, repeating the party line until it becomes true in your mind.

Don't even waste your breath. Dude is the biggest troll on the entire site and logs in for one reason and one reason only. To flame LSU.

To play for Saban, Louisiana kids have to leave the state these days. Exactly what do you expect him to say

I do not praise Saban every waking moment for everything that he does or says at all times

Well, get your arse in line or GTFO. Dude's won 3/4

It isn't equivalent situations and that is the point. UA has some guys who could improve their stock by staying, and Saban is hoping they will. Yes, the team being better is a side effect of that.

Miles has guys who could improve their stock by staying...but they are not...so Miles has to put a happy face on it.

Bama? LSU? Any SEC team? Does it really matter?

If the player is good enough, that player will go to the pros.

Then why didn't Miles tell all his draft eligible players to go pro? Is it because some of them would be better served by returning for another year or is Les just selfish?

I started to type up some names and then realized they may not be eligible next season and that is the reason for departure.

Sorry about that. I forgot that this may be in play also.

Simon has financial issues and pretty much has to go to support his two kids.

If Logan has a good work out he could go mid 2nd and is currently projected early 3rd. Not sure how much more he could improve on that.

Reid,

LOL He is projected 1st to early 2nd. How much more would he improve in a year?
