Since none of you pigs want to answer my question, I'll answer it myself: arky is 1-4 against Bama, and currently on a four game losing streak to the Tide. Elite programs don't go on four game losing streaks to Alabama - not in basketball, at least. Over two decades have passed since arky won the SEC. There was a time when arky was elite, but that time has long since passed.

oh, well i completely agree with that then.
i suppose it boils down to me expecting to see this super power when i've watched you all play due to the hooplah (and no i didn't see but a minute of last night b/c we were playing at the same time) and have been rather meh they're good but...

Bama's on field performance excuses have nothing to do with what the Rupp crowd does. Rupp is great for the carolina, louisville, texas (this year), etc. games. It's even good for the Florida game sometimes. There's not another SEC team that the crowd will get up for. For the lesser games like a Boise, Buffalo, Mississippi State, or Arkansas, it's just not going to be loud. It's not that we don't want to win the little games though--we do.

I will just say one thing in defense of Ole Miss. There is not another team in the conference where the refs would go back and look at a 3pt. a full 2min. after it happen and change the call. I'm not saying they didn't get it right because his foot was on the line but it would not happen for any other them in the conference.

I don't mean this to be condescending, but no. People did not get up to see yall play here last year, despite the earlier loss. I gave my tickets away for that game and went to dinner.
Again, the crowd being up or down has nothing to do with why yall swept us. That's on the team. I'm strictly speaking about the crowd. You're conflating the issues, which makes the above attack kind of ironic.

lol Ole Miss did play out of their minds, and hit an absolute ton of difficult/contested shots. If you can't agree to that, then maybe Ole Miss fans are the most delusional fans at any sports. Or maybe we shouldn't make sweeping generalizations over what one person says. UK fans are all class.

Considering only one team from a conference could go to the tourney until 1975, a pre '75 NIT trip was a big deal --whether anyone wants to admit it or not.
