Sure, Tennessee lately, maybe, because they've had Bama every year but that worked well for them for a lot of years.

Lately we have gotten absolutely fricked on our rotationg west opponent

Every year we play bama obviously, but

2016: undefeated #8 A&M at their place
2015: Above average Arkansas (should have won this game)
2014: Undefeated # 3 OM at their place
2013: Undefeated #9 Auburn (eventual title appearance)
2012: Undefeated #19 Ms State at their place during the Dak years
2011: Undefeated SEC and National Champs LSU at their place
2010: Undefeated #12 LSU at their place (14 men on the field game)

(undefeated at the time of game*)

You played them in Neyland.

Tyler Russell was the QB that year, and they ended up being overrated.

Doesn't matter. The perception of the team you play at game time has nothing to do with the final result of their schedule. In 2014 you scraped out a 14-13 win against Arkansas, they ended up 6-7.

Does not change the fact that they were regarded as probably the 2nd best SEC team at the time we played them

Whatever, they were still undefeated and a hell of a team

I overlooked that. But I just looked back and he actually had his best game of his career against us that day

What is sad are OPs who post a blind link with no clue of what it is about, or just a click-bait headline.

If an OP is too lazy to add a couple of lines, then I've got better things to do than wait for a blind link to open.

then don't read it, nobody cares if you read it or not

Dude what I clearly meant was that it seems like you didn't win the east one year under Spurrier because of a harder west schedule. My memory sucks but it seems like you beat the east winner but didn't win the east. You lost to a tougher west team while you had an identical east record to the winner.

2015: Above average Arkansas (should have won this game)

You mean the team that was 1-3, coming off of losses to Toledo and Texas Tech, had played and OT game on the road the week prior, and had Bama in their next game.

Also that undefeated 2012 Ms State was 5-0 with wins over:
Jacksonville St 7-5 FCS
Auburn 3-9 (0-8)
Troy 5-7 (3-5) Sunbelt
S. Alabama 2-11 (1-7) Sunbelt
Kentucky 2-10 (0-8)

That's as paper thin of an undefeated resume as you can get. The reason you think your West rotations are especially difficult is because the East has blown for the past 8 years or so. This is the SEC, occasionally you're going to have to beat a team that goes 8-5 that beats up on the sunbelt.
