Good trolling here by Adams imo. I'm sure this article is the most clicks the KNS has seen in months.

It should be based on divisional record.
So you'd prefer that interdivision games be treated pretty much like OOC games? That's pretty ridiculous.
A six game conference schedule.
And who's alter are you?

I don't know who this Adams dude is but I guarantee that his opinion does not register on the SEC give a frick meter. This is just a troll, fishing for clicks. The decision makers in the SEC (Alabama and Tennessee) have decided the fate and future of TSIO. There are three things that are you can bet your asses on.
Death
Taxes
and TSIO will live on forever. Accept it, embrace it.

Under Botch, it truly isn't. Perhaps the Vols will hire a coach that can compete with the machine one day.

Embarrasing that this article was written. Much like Alabama created the mess it was in in the early 2000s UT has done the same with terrible coaching hires. How UT cant get a quality coach is beyond me.

The comments of this UT reporter or the Auburn AD certainly dont speak for the fanbase.
UT will beat Alabama eventually and the rivalry will get back to red hot in an instant

This is far from the most embarrassing article John Adams has ever written. He lives to troll the fanbase.

Thing is Adams isn't a reporter. He's an opinion writer who is universally hated by Vol fans and for very good reason.

Or whine about opppnents cancelling games then embarrassing theirselves in their own stadium after demanding a home game.

Gawd, that is just awful. Every UT fan should be ashamed that they now look like Auburn trying to run away from Bama.
Why cause some LSU grad hack that the majority of VOL fans hates wrote some stupid opinion piece?

I think it should be determined by within div. record, then if there's a tie you look at total SEC record, and so on. It's the only way to maintain consistency since 1 team could luck out with an easy west sched and vise versa.

When?
You talking about this coming year?
LULZ
SC has played, historically, the toughest schedule from West rotating and permanent opponents since '92 expansion.
When Bama was suffering its worst stretch in history and Tennessee was enjoying its best streatch in history .... SC had MSU and Arkansas during their best periods in their history, when they were going to Atlanta.
In the years Auburn has been to Atlanta, SC Drew them on their schedule.
Same goes for SC vs Bama ... we've played Bama during their National Championship years, etc.
And we've drawn LSU during some of their best (and admittedly worst) years.
So, I'm not sure which year you might be alluding-to, but SC has probably been the least lucky when it comes to their West draws. Florida is probably second in that regard.
Sure, Tennessee lately, maybe, because they've had Bama every year but that worked well for them for a lot of years.
Auburn has had some tough draws from the East.
