Agreed. It's that feeling in the air.

baw? really? how trendy if youre so worried about Gus might want to start a response thread. Gus will probably be fired soon but it wont be because of anything Kirby Smart does at Uga.

Kirby has already matched Richt's SEC Championships in the last 10 years

We're going to find out in the next five years that the truth is Georgia's upside is competing for the SEC every 3-5ish years (and doing so for two seasons in a row) and maybe getting a chance at it all every 5 years.

Not a legit national title competitor every 3ish years.

Next season was always going to be transition year for Georgia, but if Jacob Eason lives up to the hype, Georgia should be competing for the SEC in 2017-2018.

I too think Georgia fricked up. Kirby will go through three years of growing pains. Will they give him time?

Georgia has shown plenty of patience.

One thing is for sure is that Kirby is coming into a pretty good situation, Richt leaving the program better than he found it.

When Richt was at UGA the narrative was that any coach with a pulse could win 10 games at Georgia with all the talent he brought in.

Now we have a coach who can recruit at the same level if not at a higher level than Richt and everyone thinks we will be lucky to win 7 games... Shite kills me

I think firing RIcht was a mistake but I understand why they did it. But to turn around and hire Smart ... I was thinking that they would at least go after someone who had been a head coach before.

Kirby has also tied every UGA coach since 1980 in championships... What is your point here?

1st time head coach is always a risk. Some work out, some don't.

But I can see why Georgia wanted a change. They gave CMR a long time and a fair shake.

Gus is 2-4 vs. UGA during his terms at Auburn. His eventual firing will definitely have a little bit to do with UGA.

Jesus you are fricking dumb.

UGA was a Hail Mary pass away from a title and you think Kirby underperforms?

Edit didn’t see this was a shameless bump. OP is still an idiot
