Should have won that game. You were the better team. Great difference from last years game. Big progress. Keep playing hard and stop whining.

I remember tough as nails vol fans. Lighten up. Tennessee is upward mobile to my chagrine.

I miss our battles. I miss those cocky, arrogant vols. good luck rest of season except for our game.

Spoiler alert: they will go 6-6, win the Compass Bowl, and return with high expectations in 2016

Harf

I never want to see that stadium checkered again. Both times were gut punch endings.

You could stop right there. I could not believe the celebrations in the stands so early in the game. Even Butch was trying to calm them down so his own QB could call signals. I knew then they were not ready as a fanbase. Tennessee has forgotten how to win.

See my statement above. Tennessee is the saddest bunch of losers in the SEC.

Seemed like the Tennessee defense was on the field for most of the 4th quarter. Really put you guys at a disadvantage in overtime.

Defense was definitely tired. I thought we should have burned a timeout in OT to catch our breaths.

Oh, you meant the AL streak. My bad. I think it's 8 or 9 for them.

They were completely gassed due to the offense going 3 and out nearly every possession from the mid 3rd on.

I was really impressed with the defense and they were lights out for 90% of the game against a very good offense.

You're a good 'un bamaoldtimer. I think some of our young guns just remember the recent-past with Dooley and hit the panic button because of that.

We're getting better but yes, as much as folks hate hearing it, it DOES take time and we are still playing a bunch of freshmen and sophomores. Our roster is bottom-loaded with all the talent stacked there and hardly any in the junior and senior classes. Our OL is better but still isn't very good. But those are both areas where nothing fixes it but time (we're lucky Jones loaded those bottom 2 classes). Other things, we can fix.

I'm old enough to remember Fat Phil and the University of Tennessee stabbing Johnny Majors in the back.
