This rivalry hasn't really had many battles. Historically one team has been up and the other down more often than not. Lots of long streaks in it. It's been decided by double digits 31 of the last 50 meetings. It's a good rivalry because it features extremely passionate fanbases and the two most historically successful SEC programs, but the on-field results aren't on par with some other rivalries.

I'm 61 years old. I remember all the great Tennessee teams. I have always had great respect for Tennessee. I think your current coach is headed in the right direction.

Here's to great Bama / Vol games like the old days.

PS: that damn Rocky Top drives me crazy.

I don't see that may Tennessee games, but this team seems to be the best one they've had in several seasons. That game slipped out of their hands but there is some talent on that team, and the coaching is much better than it was with Dooley. They can reel in a good record and make a run in the conference this season.
