He better fill that thing up when he's done "accidentally" deflating it.

I am not a huge believer in him as a play caller though.

This is the interesting part of it. We will definitely see how much of Saban's fingerprints are on it.

I think the main thing a lot of us got frustrated with was our inability to get the ball to a lot of our explosive players. Derrick Henry and OJ Howard were both to good of players to get as little touches as they did this past season

Here are my honest thoughts. Kiffin worked very well with Crompton at Tennessee. Developing QBs is a definite strength along with his dedication to recruiting.

Wait what QBs has he developed?

You're really trying to compare what Kiffin had done to be on the same level as Calipari?

Yet you are braving a Lane Kiffin thread on this board.

The arguments I have had over there about Cal's coaching ability are some of the more ridiculous conversations I have had.

Uh, Matt Barkley won the Heisman in 2012 along with the NC. Come on, everyone knows this.

To be clear: I love Alabama but I hate Kiffin. So I'm even-keel about this hire.

Not at all. I was talking about the slime-ball stuff.

Thats what I thought.

Kiffin ran 4 runs up the gut on Notre Dames NFL front 7.

His playcalling lost them that game and sent ND to the NCG to get embarrassed.

Lane was the Bagman at USCw under Carroll nothing more

But Sabans old arse will change all of this

Saban grooming this guy to be his successor. What better successor could an all-time great coach have than someone who we all know will fail spectacularly and make the predecessor look even better? Well played Saban, well played.

And Bama fans would be in stitches if any other SEC team made this hire. I find their indignation hilarious.
