Josh Pate just went HAM on Rollins. Saying this is garbage and that Kiffin was absolutely correct. Basically said this POS got his feelings hurt because he was put on the scout team, said “I’m taking two weeks for mental health” after not having any documented mental health issues. He hid behind the mental health excuse because he thought nobody would question it. He’s a lying sack of shite who won’t get a dime thankfully.

Tell your boss you're going through some shite, you'll get support. Don't show up or show up and don't do your job, you'll get fired. How would they know if you're not honest with them?

It was released immediately after Ole Miss and Kiffin filed a motion to have the lawsuit dismissed. It’s a Hail Mary attempt by them to create public outrage to force Ole Miss and Kiffin to settle. Because his attorneys know their case is cooked

As a coach and a boss, in terms of kicking him off the team, I think the reaction was fine

I literally said I have no problem with Kiffin kicking him off the team.
My issue is entirely in the way that Kiffin delegitimized any concern or issue that the player might have, straight up mocked him, and then did some weird over the top bullshite about telling the kid to go read rights while he’s crying in the office
That’s some weird arse and inhumane shite.

The fact that this “leak” happened the same day that Kiffin and Ole Miss filed a motion to have the lawsuit dismissed tells you that its just a quick money grab attempt. The kid is still on scholarship, not on the team but has all of the amenities that student athletes have when it comes to mental health.
