I agree with all of your scenarios. I also doubt Kiffin comes.

But one point- I think a big name like Kiffin likely would believe if he were already on staff and Orgeron is let go in a couple of years, it'd make for an even easier transition back into HC. I don't hear his name being thrown around currently with some of these openings-and there's a lot.

He also could be intrigued by the autonomy he'd gain working under Orgeron.

Just talking points. I agree with you overall, though.

Stupid post.

Why? We don't give a rats arse about LSU. But we like our staff. Liking our staff has nothing to do with LSU

I don't want him because if his off the field baggage. I don't like him at all, but he has done a great job at Bama.

I also don't want Sark. South Louisiana is not a good place for a recovering alcoholic

lol you are good you are going to get a top guy if Kiffin was to leave, and it doesn't matter if he has a Fidel Castro history of abuse it will be noted that Benevolent Saint Nick is once again doing the Christian thing.

Honestly enjoy the ride you guys are on

If you really think about it its not out of the realms of possibility (IF he decides to pass on HC job).

-His three year contract is up
-Sark has come in to learn the ropes for a reason
-he might be tired of the leash Saban has him on and is ready to be treated like an adult. He's not even allowed to talk to the media
-If he can come to LSU and show he can turn around our O and keep in check, that will open up even more HC doors for him down the line
-And don't underestimate the relationship with O. He was always at Lanes beck and call when he got HC jobs and to be honest its about time Lane returned the favor

Oh yeah...AND WE HAVE arse LOADS OF $ TO PAY HIM!

I don't think he comes but that post was all trying to justify him staying.

if they were 100% sure he is staying they wouldn't post

We are fairly certain he is going - somewhere. Houston? Might be a good spot for him to HC. Who knows

Exactly, I think that shows Saban has been preparing for Lane's exit. Whether its for a HC job or something else.

Yes. I think Kiff probably indicated that he would be considering offers for HC and thought Sark would be a good fit to learn the system and keep it going. All the talk about the LSU position is coming from LSU.

It isn't fear or jealousy or any such thing that is motivating our posts about it. It is incredulity if anything. It seems utter nonsense to us. Not fear. Kiffin will likely leave. Sark will likely replace him for a couple of years. Not a huge surprise.

It is certainly possible. I just think it would be a really, really dumb hire.

I'm not shocked you feel this way. But, you can't lie that some things do add up. And if he does come to LSU, who cares? Yall will have a stud OC that will still have you cranking. We need some damn Offense finally, can you just let us have that?!

It would definitely be a change up to what you guys currently run. If Blake Barnett visits LSU, Kiffin to LSU is a done deal

He'd get a raise and work with a good friend of his instead of a disciplinarian that embarrasses him like a child.

Also, Bama might just not renew his contract anyway.
