I really don't see why he would go. A "relationship" with Orgeron doesn't seem that persuasive. Orgeron is not even established as a head coach yet and wasn't LSU's first or second choice. Talent is better at Alabama and he has a QB in place for two more years, at least.

Alabama has just as much money to throw at him, and he is viewed as an offensive guru at Bama. One lack-luster season at LSU will call his abilities into question, and his stock will go down.

I think he'll wait until a good head coach position opens up. That may be the LSU job in a couple of years.

I don't see him coming, but Devil's advocate time:
- It is pretty clear people think Saban being an overlord keeps him in check, and without that direction he is a mess. No way to correct that perception under the thumb.
- He might not be getting the P5 looks he wants, and thinks he won't because he is only going to get so much credit in the Bama system.
- Saban was disrespectful and ego do play into this maybe he wants to prove he can do it without him. As much as Saban rehabilitate him - Lane brought Saban into a current offense. Saban was smart enough to change (cough Les), but these championship runs everyone wants more credit.

I think he's always been done at Bama after this season. Sark was brought in to replace him. Bama would rather him go to LSU now then come back for one year and lose Sark to LSU

I think they offer 2 - 2.5m, or go after a Briles.

Bama is not paying 2 million for Joey.

Doesn't ego come into play when considering "do I want to work for the guy that used to work for me?"

kiffin will leave saban because of the embarrassment that saban gave him on the sideline on national tv.

not sure where kiffin will go but, you can bet your arse he's not going to be micro managed like that anymore. I suppose it's tough to get your arse chewed by a coach who, like you, was a former nfl head coach. respect is deserved for kiffin

This is such a joke, how big of a pussy are you?

He's done it once and is this a new thing a head coach chewing out an assistant? I know yall are used to mediocrity and your coach just being blah but ours actually coaches his coaches too. You've seen players get chewed out too huh? I bet they're ready to leave the program.

maybe I am just giving counter point

again I am can't justify move just throwing random things out if it does happen

Also seems like coaching is a little bit of a brotherhood for some. Aka they don't care who is the boss. Obviously when the boss is clear (Saban) it works better, but just wondering if some see it differently.
