The stadium will collapse and Auburn University will cease to exist.

We get Chad Morris, who runs the same offense, or Gus' heir apparent who is OC at Samford

I took that out of the equation, you can say our offense will struggle unlike last year, and Gus may not get as many job offer so he stays... or if he leaves Chizik could hire another good offensive coordinator that will keep us in the top 3 in the SEC offense..

Fair enough, I find it hard to not buy into it. Going to play for Malzahn a system he is used to.Can move in the pocket and a good throwing motion with a hell of an arm. Is it just because of his location and his potentially slightly creepy dad?
Malzahn spent 4 years developing Mustain and he didn't work out on the college level. There is a difference when you have several FBS and FCS talent surrounding you while facing competition that would be lucky to have one DII talent per season.

Why do you buy into Brandon Allen?
Where did I say I did?

I'm sure this happens in many other states besides Arkansas and kids have been successful.I think if he watches this year and gets used to SEC speed he'll be able to play to his full potential down the road... JMO of course.

One spring game when Rhett was QB at Arkansas, I was a little drunk in the stands and loudly questioning why he had a spot on the team because he sucked so bad (in more colorful terms of course). After I had quieted down the lady and man behind me struck up a conversation where she informed the man that she was there because her son was on the football team. Turns out her son was none other than Rhett Lashlee.

Most awkward moment of my life. My buddies made us get up and leave immediately.

I would have immediately gotten up "to get drinks" and wouldn't have came back

That is definitely a priceless "ya don't wanna be the guy" moment.

Look back through the thread and the talk about "easing" him into the starting spot like Bray, etc.
The only advantage he has is that he will be running the exact same offense on the college level.
It will be different for him to face equal or better talent on the other team week in and out, the last time he faced better competition they had to take time to swap out the scoreboards with the three numeral boards from the basketball gym...
If Kiehl had stayed in district and played for West Fork or if he had played for any other mediocre team in Shiloh's conference, I do not believe he would have the hype that has followed him or possibly an offer from Auburn.

Do I what? Do I think he can be developed by Petrino to play the position how Petrino wants it played? Do I think he will be starting within the next couple of years? Do I think he has the potential to be a good player?

Oh it was miserable. I was still living in the fraternity house at the time and got shite forever about it.
I make it a point to no longer talk shite about our players inside of Fayetteville city limits anymore.

I can relate. I made a similar mistake at a high school game one time. I was making wise cracks about one of the players being fat and ugly. A friend slipped me a note stating that his sister was sitting directly behind me. I got up and left.

That's probably actually more embarassing becaus you still had to go to school with them. That would have been way more awkward I would think. I couldn't have told you a week later what Lashlee's mom looked like.

She was from school across town, and really cute. But still...

I'm glad we got Allen. I wish we would have gotten Frazier too and wasn't surprised he wanted to play for Malzahn's offense. I can see both players being very successful, but at this point, I'm more confident with Allen, especially since Petrino is excited about him..

By the time Frazier is a starter, Malzahn will be gone. Petrino will still be there when Allen plays so I'm going with Allen.
