I would not be at all surprised to see UK with the majority of fans at the game. I would be there, but we already have a trip planned that brings us home the day before. Perfect timing for me to go to the grocery and stock up for game day.

I also like that we are playing a former SEC member. That's cool.

I read somewhere once (did not go try to confirm) that both Kentucky and GT joined the conference in 1932, GT left in 1964, and Kentucky caught GT in conference football wins sometime around 1990.

The Yellow Jacket superiority complex around here will make going 2-0 ACC incredibly satisfying.

It's Kentucky's 1st bowl game in quite some time, so they will need to figure out how bowl preparations work. The 11 a.m. kickoff will throw them off as well. Add an option team to those variables and Kentucky will probably fold its tent and go home before halftime.

I will be pulling for Kentucky hard but I must say, playing against the triple option is hard to prepare for. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think Kentucky has the defense to stop it. You will have to score more than they do.

ETA: I say this because nobody in the Sec plays it. It's something you have not seen.

This is when the conference was founded. GT, Suwanee, and Tulane were founding members. All 3 left thereafter.

Of course UK will have plenty of fans there. Its like program making history when UK simply makes a bowl game. This is standard operating procedure for GT. Like the rarity of UK making a bowl, last year was a rarity for GT to NOT be in a bowl.

Cant wait for this one. GT gonna throw UK off the front Stoop and their asses.

Gee. Ya think?

That's often the case with Tech's home games.

Ga Tech easier to beat when you have time to prepare for that funky offense.

My feelings on this bowl: Meh

Georgia Tech isn't very good so the Cats SHOULD win. That being said, when you should win is usually when you don't and, moreover, there's a lot more downside than upside for UK with this game.

Nah GT isnt that good. Beat a top 15 team on the road and beat both of our common opponents in the SEC. But keep thinking what you are thinking.

Im glad you guys got to a bowl. I know thats a hallmark for your program and thats great.

GT will be ready.

And UK beat #11 Louisville in Papa Johns at the end of the season.

You beat UGA by a whopping 1 point when UK lost to them by a whopping 3. We both beat Vandy.

If you expect us to be intimidated or scared by Tech, well, you're drinking some rather golden koolaid over there.

Thats one angry yellow jacket.

Looking forward to this one. Its really gonna test Kentucky's discipline on defense something we haven't been great at all year but we did a decent enough job against Louisville holding the edge to finish out the season. Have a feeling we're just going to have to outscore them in a shoot out.

Not looking forward to endless cut blocks and injuries to an already thin defensive line.
