Wow...look, he's a contractor and he's made tons of connections and will be used by house builders in new neighborhoods because contractors use pretty much the same guys. This isn't hurting his business as much as you think it is.

I really don't care about Higgins roofing business, he's probably really good at it considering he can take time off to referee. I'd just rather he not officiate any more Kentucky basketball games considering we're 1-4 in the last 5 games he's officiated and 3 of those ended our season.

That's the thing. Higgins isn't an incompetent ref. He's a corrupt one. He's one of the best technical referees in the business.
However, he deliberately doesn't call games fairly. Every time A&M would play and I'd see "hair highlights", I'd immediately think "we're screwed, it's Higgins".
The only way A&M wins when Higgins is the ref is if we win by 20 or more.
I'm sure Missouri got screwed even harder than we did by him.
