Kentucky fans are so fricking unhinged that they're actively leaving bad reviews for John Higgins' (referee in the Elite 8 game) roofing business on Facebook.
Guy makes a mistake while officiating a basketball game? Let's ruin his business with bad reviews and confirm to the world that we have the worst fans in sports.

Kentucky's over 50 fans are the worst. The younger ones I've encountered weren't bad.

For sure in this day and age. Just look at what happens to any business now days that comes out in support of either political party. They get ravaged online by the other party. It's not surprising that those tactics would start to roll over into other online factions.

I'm surprised a Big 12 fan hasn't burned his business to the ground. He's one of those "look at me, I'm a star" refs. Couldn't care less if that translates into negative publicity for him.

A big problem with things like this is that it discourages people who would be good refs from volunteering (basically what they're doing at the college level), so the officiating isn't going to improve.

Hilarious that KY gets outside of the SEC where they are protected on a nightly basis by refs and they can't take it.

Typically, these sites will clean up those kind of reviews whenever the person comes up in a high profile situation.

Kentucky game threads on this board were hilarious. They spend more time bitching about the refs than anything actually taking place in the game. It's wild.
