Looks like AU will get another shot at USC.

Appears all of the projections are getting in sync on this. I wouldn't be upset with this, but I really want to be .500 or better in conference.

As bad as LSU is, could that draw be the easiest a 13 seed has ever had?

I mean, we'll get blown out by State, but State, Tennessee, and Bama to get to the semis

Auburn has a sneaky tough finish

@ Ole Miss, @ Texas A&M, @ UGA plus Florida and Arkansas at home.

LSU gets a better draw than OM, UGA or Vandy if this pans out...which it probably won't.

Tennessee is a Top 40 RPI team and Alabama is a Top 60 RPI team. State is probably the best 12 seed in the SEC in 5-6 years.

So, I mean, I don't think so really. None of those teams are great, but all 3 are NITish good. Winning one of those games by itself wouldn't be difficult, you'd have a hard time winning all 3 of them back to back to back. None of them are easy.

Have to win @ LSU and home to Mizzou, then find a way to win 2 of those 5 you listed.

AU is 3 seeds lower than us but I'd trade draws with them in an instant, even with having to play an extra game.

All true, but if bama gets a 4 seed it kind of throws everything off a little. Bama is realistically somewhere in the 6-9 range in the conference, but that win last night was huge for their conference standings.

11-14 should just be eliminated and save everyone the trouble.

The problem is that there isn't much difference between 4-12 and the inequality in scheduling can mean the difference in a couple of seeding spots.

And Arkansas' late tank job

Basically, there are 3 tiers

Top 3
4-12
LSU/Missouri

Somebody has to take the 4 spot. Until a few days ago it appeared to be Arkansas, but now they're back in the pack with everyone else.

I've never cared less about Hog basketball. And, that is sad since I've been a huge fan since the Sutton days. MA has reached his peak here. Time to move on.

3-2 in that stretch wouldn't surprise me at all.

A&M is 4-6 right now. Losses at Vanderbilt, at Arkansas, at Florida, and against Kentucky are almost certain. I don't see them beating anyone else but Missouri the rest of the way.

Don't worry, Mr. Hyde will show up a couple times down the stretch and Bama will end up .500.
