Forgot to mention, southern rap fans are now going to flood this thread name dropping to show how trill they are when it comes to the relatively obscure southern rap genre.

Terrible nickname. Johnny Football is a great nickname. And wasn't - as someone mentioned - forced.
I dont really see how this is being forced. He was asked about a bunch of potential nicknames in an interview and Kenny Trill is the one he said he liked.

Someone should tell his dad that after LSU goes in deep and often on Mr. Trill that He will be forgotten after the True Freshman takes his place

I think it's going to be transformed to "Thrill" our of confusion. He should apply for that trademark as well.
Kenny Thrill has a nicer ring to it anyway.

Sorry, but I just don't see that name catching on in the mainstream public like Johnny Football did
Agree. Too bad the reporters at the USCe game were already calling him Kenny Football which he did not want. Guess he felt he needed to have some say in it.
Kenny Trill won't be worth many $. Unless he somehow wins the Heisman before he leaves A&M.
Then Kenny Trill will be worth a shitload of $$. If he didn't trademark then some dbag lawyer would have done it somewhere.

That's is precisely why it seems forced. He picked it from a list provided to him in an interview. Now he is trying to trademark it.
First time I heard, I thought the reporter just mispronounced his name.

A&M gonna build a statue for every player who has a good game from now on.

Kenny "Thrill" would be way cooler and more appealing to the masses.
This seems forced anyway. Johnny Football is a pretty incredible and iconic nickname. 75% of America won't even understand "Trill".

Why not go with Kenny True & Real? I can't imagine anyone will ever infringe on Kenny Trill's copyright.
