Going to have to agree with the OP (upvote). In my entire adult life (51 years old), the closest we have come to generating a rivalry (after Tulane and Ole Miss) has been with Arky. The game I have hated all season long has been Bama (hate, hate, hate Bama) and the game I came to dread was Arky. Was like two twin brothers duking it out in back yard. Evenly matched, ornery cusses. Always a bruising, tough fight that we both got up from, shook hands and moved on.

WPS Hawg brothers and sisters. I personally will miss the unique scheduling of this game.

The fact both teams suck is the marketing disaster. If we were both worth a damn it would capture the attention of the region.

As someone who lives only a short drive from the Arkansas Louisiana border:

yes I see Arky/LSU as a rivalry
yes I will miss the day after Thanksgiving game. Namely because my sister and brother in law are both grads from LSU Vet school. Made Thanksgiving more fun. This year..... not so much.... I can't really talk much crap because we've been so bad the last couple of years that I don't feel we have yet earned that right.
plus a lot of the people down here have split loyalty. Even my own family has several LSU fans in it. So yes, it is a rivalry to me.
