What I wanted to see was the pitcher go high and tight 4 straight times after that to send a message.

Because the pitcher can't "stick up" for himself? Are all athletes at Tennessee soft?
Pitchers and QBs are generally protected by teams. He could/should have threw behind the next guys head or threw 4 high and tight to correct the behavior.

Except it was your pitcher's own fault.

Seems like Christian Moore didn’t (or you) if you thought what happened at 1st base was a shove

I thought Moore's actions were fiery but not worth any kind of ejection... Until, he flailed his arms after the ump backed him off. That was in the personal space of the ump. So at that point, right or wrong, he gave himself up for potential ejection.

Agreed.

He didn't "go after him."
However, he had every right to "go after him" if he had wanted to.

He'll be fired right around May 24th.

On the contrary, I have seen tons of pitchers stick up for themselves.
Nolan Ryan after a fight with Bud Harrelson (I think it was)
Pitchers have also been known to throw at batters and hit them as retaliation. I mean this isn't some foreign concept. Tennessee athletes are just soft.
I get QBs. they are smaller than a LB or DLineman. but pitchers? SoftVols.

No reason for the pitcher to get mad, the contact was his fault.
He was blocking the bag.

I hadn’t heard about this but just saw the video. Why is Tenn full of such douchebags? It’s like that team goes out of its way to be shitheads.
