Like what was this clown thinking sprinting to first base and getting in the face of the Vandy runner.

Sticking up for his pitcher because the baserunner shoved him. He was doing exactly what anyone else would have done. You go after a pitcher or QB and you get corrected.

No he didn’t

Your head coach didn’t defend it either. Not sure why you are

Like what Kyle Peterson just said about it: "The NCAA has put an emphasis on controlling player behavior this year & to be honest, I think it goes back to Tenn.s behavior last year". It does seem TV's behavior is not as explosive as it was last year. from afar anyway.

Hmmmm did the base runner go to the mound to shove him? I wonder where the pitcher was when this “shove” occurred

Because the pitcher can't "stick up" for himself? Are all athletes at Tennessee soft?

Your 2nd baseman got exactly that. Corrected.

I’ve seen the replay. He didn’t shove him

There’s no context or argument where Moore was justified for what he did. Again, Vitello didn’t excuse his actions either. I promise you aren’t obligated to defend stupidity just because he plays for your team

CSB, meanwhile Vols are on their way to sweeping #4 Vandy and righting their ship

He clearly saw something, you don’t get that reaction for nothing. It was overall a big nothing burger though

Coach V is trying to avoid another suspension. I’m defending it because it happened, we all saw it. You don’t go after pitchers or QBs and if you do then being miffed about it is both warranted and obligatory. If he doesn’t jaw back then you let your pitcher down.

Covering 1st base like they are supposed to… did a whole generation just not play sports at a meaningful level?
