Two SEC football victories since 2012.
You haven't made the NCAA basketball tournament since 2008.
You haven't made the CWS since 2012.

We've bested you in everything recently. Congrats on Wal-Mart.

what would be your expectations in 2015?

8-10 wins and a solid top 15 ranking.

The West is going to be a bloodbath, of course.

Sweet bandwagon fanship, bro.

State was cruising in that game and ran for 300+ yards before pulling their starters late in the fourth.

btw I would like to thank the ole miss fans here, this thread has been pretty civil for the most part with good discussion. A night and day contrast from the les miles thread.

Our defense should be just as good if not better then last years. Our offense should be better if we can get a quarterback. We will have all of our 2-deep on the o-line back and added a ton of depth at our receivers position, which can rival any others school in the nation. We have gotten rid of all of our smaller backs and now have a three running back system with Jordan Wilkins, Akeem Judd, and jaylen Walton. Jordan is over 220 and Akeem is over 230 so we will have a lot bigger backs this year.

Our expectations depend solely on the quarterback position; I'm going to hold my judgement til after spring camps.

It's better than going backwards like Malzahn. Most good coaches come into a job and steadily improve it. Malzahn comes in and wins right away

What's better, really high highs followed by lows, or just average all the time? OM may not have had the clunker type year we had in '12, but they also haven't sniffed an SEC or national title either.

I'm sure Urban's spread will get figured out aaaaaaaaaaaaaany day now. That gimmick has only been working for over 10 years for him now.

I don't know who that is, but no I am only myself.

Trust me, when I first got team board access I was accused of being about 20 different people.

I can't wait to have some semblance of a running game.

2012 - 174.0 YPG (5th in the conference)
2013 - 190.0 YPG (7th in the conference)
2014 - 155.5 YPG (10th in the conference)

Right because attending the school is bandwagon.

Notice how the rest of the OM folks on here are responding in a civilized way, not telling the OP to go frick himself for posting your teams records

Do you honestly think I give a frick about your beliefs in civilized message board behavior?

Urban >>>> Malzahn

But I agree that the "figuring out an offense" argument is pretty stupid and it almost never plays out that way.

As you stated last, we will know how good of a coach he is after this next season.
-team full of "his recruits"
-QB development/battle
-OLine development
-fixing the running game
-replacing top 3 defensive leaders

There is a lot to prove in 2015

knowing that he has recruited as well as anyone else at ole miss (what did that poster say, 3 of the 4 best classes ever?), will it be disappointing if ole miss is average again this year, or will you just point to QB/RB issues?

There it is.

9-4 and a final top 20 ranking is hardly average.

I could see them winning 8 or 9 games this year.
