Ok to settle this and concentrate on football I will admit that parts of Alabama smell worse than New Orleans.

Especially Lee County when they cow patties get wet and it starts to heat up.

Only cow poop smells worse than Bourbon street.

No doubt but they didn't have any help up front either.

My city has more history and character than any place in your shitty state. Who vacations in Bama?

Equating a few blocks of Bourbon Street with the entire city = stupidity.

The rest of the city is no great shakes either, honestly. Pretty dumpy.

The giant weevil statue in Dothan is pretty inspiring.

I go to NOLA at least once a year and I like it, but it smells like a dump in a lot of places. Many things give NOLA character and the bad smell isn't one of them.

Lots. You should go to Gulf Shores. The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail is excellant. Not to mention some of the State Parks and the facilities, especially on the Tenn. River. Then there is Space Camp that draws folks too

Most importantly, the shrine at Elmwood cemetary.

NOLA is a shithole, but its a shithole that I love. Sure, it has a distinct stinch, but the culture and atmosphere that is second to none.

I've always loved it and will be back.

Ok, I apologize for pointing out the obvious. Wincrimson said it best and speaks for me....

Uh yeah. Gulf Shores. Orange Beach. Fort Morgan.

I've even run into the occasional idiot taking a trip to Huntsville to see NASA.

Also, Mobile in no way can match New Orleans history, culture, all that good shite. But it's pretty damn old and according to Mobilians they have the original Mardi Gras.

Just sayin.....
