It was at least 2 posters throwing out bonfire jokes, and then laughing about it on y'all's team board with nobody calling them out.

Ok so two online personalities and you're just going to go ahead and lump our whole fan base in it? If you're also referring to scrooster you'll find he wasn't joking. He was legitimately offended by the practice being on the state house grounds and was trying to relate to the Aggies how he felt about someone else coming on something where tragedy happened and doing some traditional celebration. Again, I know the Aggies didn't mean for it to be offensive, but there are a few Gamecocks that do find it offensive.. that's all there is to it. And the "We're Texan we can do what we want" attitude the Aggies, and you in particular, had in response didn't help matters.

As for our board I think most of us knew and agreed that Loathor would get the ban hammer, Loathor included.

The cocks posting on here are talking shite and their coach is a big mouth.

Aggies have a new guy at DE who is consistently beating the SEC's #1 ranked LT. cocks are gonna be sad when their QB and RB's take the mugging that is on it's way.

Yup, your interaction with 7 Gamecock fans certainly justifies the totally unbiased opinions of random Clemson fans you met 9 years ago.

I would agree with this. You can't always paint with a broad brush. In my experience, Clemson is a much better game day atmosphere than USC. I have been to both. Clemson fans as a whole were a more pleasant group than USC. Almost all of their fans were pleasant. At USC, there are quite a few jerks, but also a lot of nice fans. A few bad apples shouldn't spoil the whole bunch

You also have to consider the intense rivalry these two have. As for the sidewalk comment, I have never thought that USC has a lot. If they want to talk atmosphere and pleasant fans, I would absolutely say Clemson wins. You also have to consider there is not a rivalry between USC and A&M, so the experience should be very good. My issue is the overall experience in Columbia. The USC crowd is very lively, but tailgating, location, etc. just aren't very good. Cockabooses are really cool though.

Not trying to troll, just talking about my experiences. I do think it's kind of funny that Clemson is trying to make USC fans look like Raiders fans. The worst I ever got in Columbia was a little trash talking. You would think Cock fans were killing kittens by listening to Clemson fans. I can only speak of my experiences personally, but others may totally disagree with me.

He's sharing his opinions. Not everyone will like us. I appreciate his honesty in saying he had a better experience at Clemson without diminishing South Carolina.

A lot better than I like the whole "Clemson fans were great. They told us South Carolina fans were stuck up jerks".

Yeah we were totally stuck up about our football program in 2005.

Forgive me for automatically going to Defcon Troll. The last few aTm/USC threads have been a little heavy on it.

USC fans are very passionate, so maybe that's mistaking arrogance for passion. I have never thought USC fans are stuck up. I think you should never listen to bitter rivals, as the opinion will always be skewed. Nature of the beast I guess.

He also has a biased opinion as a UGA fan, and I mean that in the sense that he'd encounter more hostility from us than if he rooted for another team.

Ask other fans that have played both us recently, from what I've gathered most other fans, and AU fans in particular, prefer us to Clemson.

And SC have a SR LT Corey Robinson and a SR LG AJ Cann that lined up against Clowney in practice everyday for 3 years.

Now I'm sure A&M's kid is talented, but in now way, shape or form is he as good as Clowney was at the peak of his college career. Will he be? Who knows, but SC's O-line men have seen talented DE's and have done just fine.

Think before you post.

A&M posters don't troll, we simply bend the truth.

In 'now' way could Myles be better?

Both we ranked #1 overall recruits, so I think it could be possible. And Clowney slacked off during games. I tend to think he didn't go full speed in practice either.

Bingo. I would expect it to be a somewhat hostile environment. Frankly, I was a bit surprised it wasn't more hostile when I went to Clemson. I would certainly not be dissuaded from going back to Columbia solely because of the fans. Overall, they were good.

Any of the gamecock fans that saw the statistics from their scrimmage may want to tap the brakes on the shite talk. Your secondary was torched.

Aggies scrimmaged yesterday also and ran a lot more plays than in your scrimmage. Aggies will do their talking after dominating the 4th quarter.

I won't read the thread because I already know what's in it. The game can't get here soon enough.
