It's really true. They hate that they have a winning record against us yet we are the bigger school, the richer and more exposed athletic department (thanks SEC). They can't stand or comprehend how we could have such a shitty football program for so long and still be standing in the position that we are currently in.
While it is true that we have a lot of non-alumni rooting for us it's not because of 'Cocks. If that were true we'd be more popular across the country than we are. We are more popular state wide than Clemson and undoubtedly more supported from the students that go to the state's smaller schools (CoC, Winthrop, etc.) and it drives them mad.
All they want is to be recognized as a big time university and athletic program. In football they would keep getting hyped and it looked like they would finally turn into that ACC power but somehow, someway they kept choking away entire seasons. Now they are scoring those big wins (vs OSU, UGA, LSU, etc.) but suddenly they can't figure out a way to beat us for the first time in their history.

Sittin in a breakfast diner near Clempson in 2005 with my Dad on the morning of the A&M vs Clempson game. Dad and I are wearing our Aggie caps. Big beefy guy walks up to our table. Dad and I look at each other and say, Here we go. Big beefy guy leans in and says: "Beat the shite out of Clempson." That's when I knew y'all had something going on. Wish we could've obliged.

I hope Dabo coaches at clemson for 30 more years. However, there is no chance he's there in 2 years. Danny Ford will punch Radakovich in the mother fricking throat before he let's Dabo lose 8 in a row to SC.
