6.3 yards per carry with 729 carries in the SEC is unreal!

Apparently others agree. I figured Gus would run more to keep his newly minted defense well-rested. JJ is definitely not the option QB that Marshall was, but setting up the pass or even having him run to the open part of the field out of a well-timed draw isn't bad either.

I expect Auburn will still be a run dominated offense, but not to the degree we have seen lately.

You don't agree. I absolutely think he will get 1,000 yards of stainless steel corrosion.

eta...oops...that's "rouging"...honest mistake.

Just looked and saw Jovon as at Auburn before going Juco and coming back. Can anyone shed a little light as to why?
Isn't this the kid that made it to campus, had some high school grade issues that forced him to leave AU and go JUCO?

IMO, he gets well over 1000 yrds this season.

Why do people think this? JJ is a good runner just prefers to pass it. Check out game vs Auburn HS that had Reuban Foster and Rashaan Evans on defense

He just isn't. Jeremy Johnson isn't Cam Newton or Nick Marshall. He's more like Jameis Winston when it comes to running.

That's him. He was the #1 rated JUCO player, IIRC.

He's definitely got better speed than Winston.

So is it safe to say that this is False after seeing how well ROC did during the Spring game?

Who is your bet to be the main RB this year Auburn fans?

I still think Jovon is the guy barring injury.
