He is a tremendous athlete that is a starting quarterback at a prestigious football program.

He wants to design and build airplanes when football is no longer an option for him and he is intelligent enough that he will be able to do that.

He manages to play football and take college courses that most on here would be completely lost at. He has great character and is a humble soft spoken young man that has a great family. Yet some of you guys like to blast him for having a medical condition that is beyond his control. He is obviously much more mature than most in this thread.

Think about that while your working at your job and see how it stacks up with what you are accomplishing with your life.

I could be wrong, but my guess is that he doesn't give a lick what a bunch of dorky kids on an Internet message board think of his appearance?

Some of your parents failed so colossally, it's a crime.

He might as well get it shaved off and then get eyebrow tattoos that say "vols" and "bitch"

Why has this not made its way to the Fark Board yet?

I have close friends from high school and people I've met here who have the same thing.

Dobbs is a impressive young man and I don't mean to make fun of his condition but where the frick did he go to high school? There were multiple people there with alopecia? I'm 45 and I've never met anyone with noticeable symptons of alopecia.

I went to a smallish private school, and I knew 2. It's really pretty common.

Thumbs up to Dobbs. The kid is smart and appears to have his act together. Message board or not, joking or trolling about a disease he has is pretty low class. Let him look however he wants to look. There are plenty of other things to troll or joke about.

I've never understood how judging someone for anything they have no control of is any different than judging someone for being of another race, but that's just me. Good for him.

To be serious, Dobbs is obviously an intelligent guy with tremendous physical gifts. Alopecia or not, he came out plenty ahead in the evolution lottery.
