Jumpin' Jesus

Are there that many stupid people on here?

The NCAA has said nothing.

And, for that matter, neither has A&M - officially. These are sources, not facts.

This. We are laughing at a&m more than upset. It's a half vs rice for goodness sakes

but it's no fun on a message board to laugh at the situation, because it is silly. You gotta say buzz words like mad and tears

A&M is only suspending him for one half because Sumlin is afraid of Rice. They could lose if Johnny doesn't play

Honestly, I may switch my pick to Rice winning if it's true. I doubt JFF will be able to overcome the 1st half beating by Rice.

Do they seriously think that a 1/2 game suspension against Rice will appease everyone and make the whole thing go away? If anything this makes A&M look hillariously bad, worse than not suspending him at all.

Your post makes you look hilariously dumb.

The common guide for a violation of this rule is 1-2 games. This will be the first punishment for a violation of the rule based purely on this type of circumstantial evidence (e.g. "you should have known").

This holding will implicate other players with tons of autographs on the market, too. The NCAA has to be mindful of that.

Look, it's not our fault the media inflated your expectations with sensationalism that mischaracterized the strength of the NCAA's case. Perhaps you shouldn't have given so much weight to a handful of anonymous brokers and a reporter whose been duped before.

They should have just disassociated the broker from A&M and told him he could only have contact with Johnny in the form of a businessman.

A&M fans..pump the breaks..no one is mad about JFF getting to play, most of us wanted him to play. This just shows how much of a joke the NCAA is though. I think he should've been suspended a quarter and then come in at the 13:41 mark of the 2nd.

Sucks for Clowney. Since he signed more than Johnny he's probably gone a whole game.

This. This is an enormous slippery slope. I wouldn't sign one more autograph if I were a collegiate athlete.

Either he did or he didn't take money.. Why suspend him for a half if he didn't do anything?

Sumlin should just go without a QB in the first half for sport. Have some fun with it.

I know Liucci. He's in Loftin/Cook's back pocket and was instrumental in the hiring of Sumlin.

AJ Green got FOUR games for ONE jersey.

UGA fans should be livid.
