Not when you have great lawyers. Good luck with your circumstantial evidence when you're getting sued in court

Do you seriously believe anyone is scared of a pissed off aggie team?

Must've been aTm. Schools have given 1/2 game suspensions before. I don't recall the NCAA doing it.

This might be the most embarassing and stupid way A&M could have handled it.
They had two sane plays:
1. Play him as though nothing happened and he's totally innocent
OR
2. Sit him indefinitely while the questions are cleared up
Do they seriously think that a 1/2 game suspension against Rice will appease everyone and make the whole thing go away?
If anything this makes A&M look hillariously bad, worse than not suspending him at all.

do we KNOW that the suspension was from the NCAA or was this done by the university?

A&M is only suspending him for one half because Sumlin is afraid of Rice. They could lose if Johnny doesn't play.

So he going to break golf clubs, cuss out his aunt, throw picks, and punch out a GA? How is that suppose to help A&M win games?

If true it would seem to be A&M
And that was my point about aggie gonna aggie. It's just dumb. Suspend him nothing or the whole game. Doesn't make any real sense except in aggieworld
