Mizzou, I understand your frustration with the Haith situation, the NCAA acknowledged that if any other information comes to light they will reopen the case. However the only sources they have are these brokers and they are absolutely not going to talk. Their only chance besides that was to have Manziel admit he took the money, which he denied. I don't know what the particulars of the Haith case are so I'm not gonna get into that. However two wrongs don't make a right. They didn't find anything and they acted accordingly, I hope they do the same for mizzou soon

That's fine dude. I realize you guys are wading through droves of butthurt/uninformed posts and its hard to distinguish ones that are just questioning the NCAA's consistency, that's all I'm doing. I frankly don't think JFF should have to lose any time *until* any sort of ruling is actually made, got no beef with that. It's just the inconsistency of the NCAA in the way it deals with different situations, and having our own coach in the middle of that shite, that's frustrating. I don't even care what their ruling on our coach is, all I know is there is no set of facts in the world that takes two frickin' years to figure out. The frickin' United States Supreme Court thinks the NCAA is slow (and unjust of course). But yet in other scenarios such as this one, the NCAA suddenly finds the ability to put in a one-month rush order just in time for football season. It's just so inconsistent, and economics are the main reason for that. If there's $$$ to be made by the NCAA movers and shakers still, they'll haul arse to resolve some sort of investigative issue. If there's no $$$ to be made, then they'll lolly gag for years on end. That part is what sucks. But it has *nothing* to do with A&M or Manziel at all, you guys are doing what any institution should do and I'm glad you didn't get fricked over.

Technically you only need 5 Super Bowls to be the best ever, but I agree.

Would have been better if the NCAA had said we have nothing, as such he can play if the school says he's clean.
But if in the future we find proof that he took the money we will come down hard on the school.
It's not that hard.

aggies, please explain to me just why this POS is mad? He got away with breaking the rules so he & Uncle Nate should be out looking for a good frat party to get wasted at. Why anger? aggies should be happy as hell he got away with it. Bet all those heroes in the Medal of Honor Hall of Fame are real proud of their school' program now. Go ahead & give the POS a standing ovation. Stroke his ego even more. Quality, classy fans you have over there.

So, when do the ACLU, Al Sharpton, AJ Green and Dez Bryant form a plan of action?

Um -- he didn't break any 'rules.' He did, in fact, plead guilty to breaking several 'laws' -- such as:

statutory rape
assault

Let's not get carried away here. We're talking about a kid that either signed a bunch of crap he shouldn't have, or bilked a broker for a few C notes for some sigs. Either way, less deserving of a suspension than a guy with a significant criminal record.

They got him on some minor statute about signing things that could be sold for profit or such... Hahahahaha!!! A 1/2 game suspension is basically the ultimate insult, and shows how little power they actually have these days.

We play our backup the first half which needs to happen anyway, and then JFF comes in after halftime against a tired Rice defense... What is the over for this game again?

You realize that the NCAA is not a statutory law enforcement agency, right? And you do realize that the legal system deals with law enforcement and has, in fact, dealt with Hill, right?

Try removing the stick out of your dumb arse.

Congrats Aggie Fans! Now when are the 4 major conferences going to leave the NCAA? Everyone knows how to beat the system.

Lawyer up, get your story straight, admit to nothing, have the University Media Relations Deparment take over, DO NOT SELF IMPOSE SANCTIONS (see Ohio State) and sing along to the original version of "Lean On Me," while somking some spice!!

VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!

I don't disagree with this. The NCAA can fold its tent and move on.

Seems to me this could be easily settled. Didn't JH say he did it because he wanted new rims and his daddy wouldn't give him the money? Go look at his ride and if he's got new rims, then there ya go.
