Yes the defense will be vastly improved.
Hall/Garrett defensive end combo
AJ Hilliard our best linebacker is back from injury and fully healthy.
Watts/Evans at safety

LSU has a huge talent advantage over A&M because of current HS commits who wont even sign their LOI for six more months?
That's weird

Well you're about to meet him and Josh Boutte.

A&M and LSU finished within three spots of each other in the 247 team recruiting rankings in 2012, 2013 and 2014. A&M has landed more five stars than LSU in the four classes since Sumlin arrived.
LSU has more talent overall right now, but to act as if the recruiting gap has been wide is just dishonest. A&M has landed a lot ton of players LSU offered since Sumlin got here.
And we had Chavis "recruiting" then and look what happened when left for us and what happened to you. Bye!

Recruiting gap isn't that significant, although 2015 and 2016 are setting LSU up to finish in the top 2.

It must suck to have to hope that BOTH Steele succeeds and Chavis fails in order to be right.
Chavis won't "fail" at A&M...nowhere to go but up, honestly.
Steele has a lot of proving to do but I welcome that change.

O/U on Myles sacks this year are 6
He'll surpass that before the end of September, if for no other reason than we play Nevada and Ball State and ASU was 110th in the nation in sacks allowed last year.

Myles Garrett may not recognize the name, but he undoubtedly knows his number.
He probably still has nightmares of being crushed by the numbers 85 and 72.

Watts and Evans would maybe come off the bench at LSU. Yalls secondary is garbage and Myles is like RN for Ole Miss. Talented yet hasn't done much.

Steele will only fail in the eyes of LSU fans. Chavis had the top defense in the SEC last year, and supposedly y'all didn't want him back. What is going to happen when the Steele Curtain yields a 6th ranked defense?

Yea our DL class is about to be pretty insane. I don't wanna count my chickens or anything but damn, O and Steele are frickin closers.
