Yeah, because LSU told him to GTFO and wouldn't give into his demands.

Didn't he go to Houston before heading to Texas A&M to pursue an MBA?

He came from Blinn, just like his mommy Old Sarge.

John Chavis is a very good Coach and OP should get over it that he left.

They aren't sure if they will even have a QB on scholarship right now. They will pull somebody from their all male powderpuff intramural team.

They could just have Ken Niamatolo (sp) just come down and install Navy's option offense.

Makes sense. Texas A&M is a pretty rigorous academic institution. I doubt their students have the time to handle a whole course load AND troll the Rant 24/7

They are worse than LSU fans flip flopping. At least Miles did something in the offseason to give LSU fans hope with hiring Aranda and recruiting his balls off. Somehow TAMU fans are all in today, even though many of these same posters have posted about Sumlin being on the hot seat and rightfully so, in very recent past.

Ironically enough, the analogy for drinking the Kool Aid, as one aggy mentioned, is referring to mass suicide.

wasnt the aggy board in full meltdown mode recently with all the sumlin mess, recruits and players leaving, etc?

what has changed since then for their team and program?

It still is go look for yourself

They are ready to fire Sumlin tomorrow. Which they should be, IMO. It's just the bravado ITT is a little contradicting. Loyal to a fault if you ask me, but hey, I guess they consider that a positive.

I'm not now nor was I upset a year ago when he left. His defenses were always solid and he had 1 elite year in 2011. Other than that I got tired of watching his soft zone shite late in games and teams going down the field for wins and ties. He also allowed our LB corps to become a fricking laughing stock.

Why would anyone want a new power, no matter where it was, to emerge? Chavis isn't speaking anything controversial, here.

Well there's a difference in not wanting another power to emerge and actually being afraid one will emerge. Nothing outside of an anomaly year with Manziel has proven that TAMU football is going to be a powerhouse. There were clashes with recruiting, and obviously the facilities are top notch-probably up there with Oregon. But the negative press has been just as abundant as of late.

Maybe the Chief's defense will make the next jump.

Tennessee warned us; we had our doubts; what you guys do with this DC is up to you.

You've been warned.
