Oh ok, I gotcha. Next time just say you're an idiot right away and just get it over with.

LSU did just as much if not more for Saban than he did for LSU.

LSU opened the purse and gave him a shitload of power in deciding how it would be spent. He held more power than ANY HC in LSU history even before his first winning season...because LSU recognized him as the Rock Star he wanted to be.

LSU won him his first SECC.

LSU made him the Highest paid coach in NCAA...after winning him his first NCC.

LSU is responsible for the Saban brand, period.

And no, he didn't run from LSU. Not at all. He was easily seduced by $ and the promise of NFL success by Devils that refused to take no for an answer and exchanged c-notes for oxygen.

When he failed at that, he made Bama money-men his bitches and has been holding high court in Tuscaloosa ever since.

Your welcome, coach.

They may be but not by much - please show me my mistake.
All time, L5U has won against Alabama at whopping 31% clip (including the "outlier" years) 25 wins in 80 attempts. Without the "Saban" years 20 out of 74 (28.5%). Without the 2000's 18 of 70 (25%).

You're still making no point, but you're getting plenty of bites so not bad trolling I guess. Just know bamas wins don't feed your 9 kids or get you and your sister wife out of the family trailer.

Good post. Historical results are not guarantees of future returns. It's interesting but history does tell us something in the CFB realm.

Also true

True

Correct

OK, that is a stretch

Agreed

We owe L5U our thanks for helping our coach to grow up enough to pull our program out of the shitter if had fallen into. L5U helped Alabama (as Barrett Jones said) Restore Order.

LSU did not recruit the elite Louisiana black athlete with any regularity until the late 1990's. They all went to Miami, Nebraska, Colorado, Florida State etc. Dinardo flipping that script changed our fortunes with Saban and Miles absolutely dominating. Now we do a better job of keeping elite talent in-state than any school in America. That combined with a top 5 "football culture" is what makes LSU a top five job for any coach who wants to make a name for himself.

But my Alabama education did help me feed my wife and 3 kids, all of whom will (or did) graduate from college debt free. As for my trailer...it is a really nice trailer if that is what you want to call it. Thanks for your concern.

Right. I'll take national perception of LSU over idiots from Alabama (Clay Travis had them pegged) who post on the SEC Rant any day.

so if you take out a bunch of wins, the winning percentage will be lower. again, hot take dude. very compelling stuff.

if you take out Bear Bryant and the last 5 games, LSU's winning percentage against Alabama is 42%. Am I doing this right?

btw, you remove ties when doing a winning percentage. you don't just count that as a loss to try to make your argument look stronger HTH

Your borderline illiterate posts don't exactly paint your Bama degree in the best light. I'd maybe tell people you went to Central Alabama or something.

I never claimed a winning percentage, my statement was about win rate.

ok, so you're again trying to manipulate stats to prove that Alabama is a better program than LSU? I'm glad you pointed that out. I thought Alabama was just an average program until I read your posts in this thread. Thanks
