lol, Michigan is the all time winningest program in college football history.

So what? They aren't the most accomplished team or the most successful and they lack the hardware on the shelves that Bama possesses.

Michigan just isn't on the same level as Alabama and haven't been for a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, long time.

All of you need to quit living in Michigan's past and clinging to their former glory in a vain attempt to find anyone, someone, something that is more successful than Alabama in football.

The last NC Michigan won was in 1997. Wow. Before that, you have to go all the way back to 1948 for another NC.

Michigan hasn't won a conference championship since 2004. Amazingly horrible for a supposed "powerhouse".

Michigan is a has been and is no longer really associated with the upper echelon of college football.

Of course Harbaugh would jump at a chance to coach a smooth running machine like Alabama. Apparently Michigan just doesn't care too much about football any longer, judging by their, frankly, pitiful excuse for a football team since the late '40's, early 50's.

All of you here need to quit living off the carcass and rotten meat of a long dead Wolverine.

Which Buckeye alter are you? Perhaps Sparty on the Bama wagon after the human sacrifice at the Cotton Bowl? I don't know if you are the dumbest poster or the boldest. I'll allow it.

I am not to blame that you are ignorant of college football history. Not only is Michigan a has been nobody with fans who feed off long, long dead glory, but they are about to lose the "all-time win" category also.

Alabama is only 33 wins behind them. And, just to keep things honest, 75% of those 33 wins came before Alabama even had a football team.

I never knew a Northern team, whose best days were leather helmet times, had so many die-hard SEC fans who supported them and admired them.

Most of that is enemy-of-my-enemy sort of thing. Most Ranters hate Ohio State so they immediately cling to the Buckeyes' natural rival. That's all it is. Unbeknownst to many in the SEC is that if they think Buckeye fans are obnoxious, they will flat out explode at the arrogance of "Michigan Man" and the type of douche fans that team brings all over the interwebs. Quite uppity and delusional to say the least.

Why would most ranters hate Ohio State? They are not anyone's rival here, they are not in the same conference, very rarely play any SEC teams, and have no affiliation with the SEC in any way whatsoever.

Much more likely is that the level of dislike for Alabama, due to it's total dominance of college football history, among SEC fans is so high that they cling to any team that even has a claim to being on the same level as Alabama.

It's a funny spectacle to see all of them sucking up to Michigan as if they have any type of connection to them.

What the hell though, tell me more about this long-standing infatuation that most all Ranters and SEC fans have with Michigan and Ohio State.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, you sound like all those really intelligent football fans, nationwide, that said the exact same thing about Saban.

If Alabama decided they wanted Harbaugh, which I'm not even sure he is good enough to coach at Alabama, they could most likely secure his employment with very little effort.

Alabama would be willing to pay more, have better football facilities, a more competitive and respected conference to compete in, more dedicated fans, and a much better history and tradition.
