"highest level"
He referred to the NFL as the Highest Level. Which Harbaugh has proven he can win at. What is confusing or controversial about that statement?

Harbaugh was out-recruited by 3-4 teams in his conference yet won it.

I was out of the country for a few years, so I must have missed the year that Jim Harbaugh won a Pac 12 championship.

He went 12-1. Sucks a team went undefeated. He gave Stanford their best record since 1935

Funny to read a bama fan talking about winning the conference mattering

yet I'm sure this same bama fan would call the 2011 bama team one of tGOATs

Depends on if the "highest level" refers to the level of competition or the level of winning. By your definition, there are dozens of guys who have "won at the highest level" that would be silly to include in a discussion like this. When most people talk about "winning at the highest level", they're talking about championships...at least one...at some point.

It matters about as much winning an NL West championship mattered to the San Francisco Giants this year. Funny how LSU fans can't grasp that.

12-1 with no conference title is better than 8-4 with a conference title from a coaching standpoint. Bottom line is he took Stanford to their best record since 1935. 12-1 most years gets you in the title game. Remember, in all of Sabans's title games but one his team has had one loss

no they're not.

coaching in the NFL and having success is winning at the highest level. Something Saban couldn't do, and ran away from.

So if at 4th down from the 3 yard line, Kaep runs in the TD instead of being an incomplete pass in the super bowl, he then has proved he can win? Are you really going to be this obtuse. He went to three straight NFC championship games, and was 3 yards away from winning the super bowl. He has proven he can win at the highest level

You're still talking about one year at one school, and one title appearance in the NFL, which he lost. And no one here is comparing Harbaugh to a guy winning some conference going 8-4. People are trying to compare him to the best.

And as of right now Harbaugh is 2-0 or 1.5-.5 against Saban at comparable situations.

No one is "trying".

He is comparable. Saban at Bama is not a fair comparison to any coach at Stanford.

We can revisit all of this if he takes the Michigan job. Because we both know he would turn that program around in about 1-2 seasons.

So a guy like Buddy Ryan had "success at the highest level". Ok.

Unlike you and most of your obtuse fan base, I don't associate myself and my accomplishments with a football team.

Are you really arguing that Jim Harbaugh hasnt had success in the NFL? Really it doesnt matter though, when talking about NFL the only thing that matters in this particular discussion is

Harbaugh>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Saban in the NFL

At mid tier programs

Harbaugh=Saban

At top tier programs
