Harbaugh may be the top coach in all of football. I definitely think he's better than Saban. Saban is probably a better recruiter though.

So far Harbaugh hasnt won anything except his division and 1 playoff game. Call me out when he wins more - I'll gladly admit I'm wrong.
Harbaugh went 12-1 and dominated the Orange bowl with a program that had won 1 game before he took over
Saba was at Michigan State, a program that is much easier to win at than Stanford, for 5 years and never won more than 9 games

I'd take Saban in college by a decent margin and Harbaugh in the NFL by a margin too large for words. Overall Harbaugh is probably superior, but Saban is a proven commodity at a higher level of CFB

jim harbaugh and it ain't close

Harbaugh, and that's not a shot at Saban, either. I realize that Saban is more proven at the college game, but I'll easily take Harbaugh in the NFL and I could understand taking him over Saban in college, too. He'll probably never return to the college game, though.

It's hard to take anyone over Saban in recruiting, but Harbaugh was doing an outstanding job recruiting at Stanford, IIRC. At least considering their academic standards, lack of impressive football tradition, and the fact that they were 1-11 when he took over.

Uhh ok -
so by your same logic... 49'ers and all their nfl titles ...does that give harbaugh an advantage or is saban at an advantage but didn't capitalize by being at Miami?!?
Seriously... what is your degree in - surely not comparitive logic.
You really have no clue how any of this relates to the other do you?

You're the one comparing Saban' accomplishments at Alabama and LSU to Harbaugh's at Stanford...
You really have no clue how these don't relate at all do you?

Logically everyone is going to pick the guy with most success in the NFL. Doesn't matter to me. I've been a 49er and Crimson Tide fan for the last 17 years.

Is this even a question? Harbaugh and it's not even close.

I don't mind Saban, but it's got to be Harbaugh

Your opinion shouldn't even count after your "fire GW " thread, dumbass

Little too early to vote Harbaugh above Saban. He has never won a NC [but may very well do it ] Saban has 3 NC's by taking two losing programs to the top. Let's wait and vote after Harbaugh has a second and third chance to coach NC teams.
