This is actually worse than transitive property.

it would be kind of funny if he got knocked out in practice say a week before the season starts.
i hope it doesn't happen tho.

He played G last yr right?
It worked for Bama with Barrett Jones though but Joeckel is the 1st overall pick Thursday so he's pretty good and will be tough to replace
Barrett was the most decorated OL in SEC history though

Mosley wasn't a starter, this year he is
He played 68 of 77 possible snaps and had 14 tackles. I dont really care if you call him a starter or not

We didnt run any spy or soft zone in the A&M game, another by product of that fatigue
Zone requires less exertion than man thus the fatigue debate can be thrown out. Just a brief review of film shows an obvious spy on two of Manziels big runs and the TD to Kennedy.
In other words, literally nothing you said was accurate.

It's not like Luke Joeckel has a 2nd team All-American replacing him this year...oh wait.

No, he was a second team AA right tackle.

Right Tackle. You're thinking of Ogbuehi, who played Right Guard last year and is now the starting Right Tackle.

Bama's going to maul him.

Goodell will investigate the bounty

No. And Matthews is considerably more talented than Barrett Jones. Seeing Jones get absolutely manhandled by a decent DL like Spencer Nealy showed me all I needed to see.

Yeah, I lost a lot of football respect for Jones after watching him get mauled all game by an undersized Nealy.

I've watched that game a couple times since and we had a lot of the base D scheme in instead of a particular QB spy coverage (like it took Saban and D staff a yr to devise a plan to spy specifically on Tebow and in the now infamous "Tebow cried" game it was a lot more intricate defense, that was all I meant

fits with Te'o being the most decorated defensive player in ncaa history
Both may actually be employed as interior decorators inside of 3 years.

Hopefully 2012 will be the last season that we have to play offensive linemen out of position to ensure that the best five are on the field at the same time.
2012 - Ogbuehi (Tackle) played guard
2011 - Ogbuehi (Tackle) played guard
2010 - Lewis (Center) played guard
2009 - Lewis (Center) played guard
2008 - Shumard (Guard) played tackle, Grimes (Guard) played tackle
I'm only going back to 2008 because I'm going to pretend that 2003-2007 never happened.

If he does and Sumlin has to rely on one of his QBs, things could ugly for A&M. Back-up just transferred too.

I was actually at the Bama game, it didn't look like fatigue, it looked like saban was out coached whistle to whistle.

And with that, you just added 30 pages to this topic.

Barrett would have been a solid swing tackle to back up Matthews and Joeckel these past few years.
