My guess is that most SEC fans evaluate programs on the big three sports. They don't look very far beyond that. The post-Tebow years are what's fresh in everyone's minds. But if you look beyond that, what UF's accomplished since Foley began is very impressive.

Arnsparger hired SOS and Norm Sloan. Without those hires UF is probably still toiling in mediocrity.

There really isn't an argument against. He had a few hiring whiffs. But always rebounded pretty good. Also you have to give props considering not only competing in the SEC, but FSU and da U in state. Probably not a better and harder AD job in the country.
