Yeah my definition may be off. What I mean by "pay for play" is what everyone associates dirty recruiting with, enticing players with cash so that they go to your school over another. That might not be the accurate definition but it's the only thing fans care about. I lost the kid I wanted because y'all bought him.

Well then, yeah, your definition is off. By your previous posts and this one, just what is described in the documents that Ole Miss admitted to, in regards to Tunsil, then that would fall under your very inaccurate version of "pay for play", if nothing else.

Now having to give a joke compliment, like best law school, does that there not show you hate too much to have a logical conversation?

What about what I said was a joke?

It is fun to read his posts because he is one that wholeheartedly believes Ole Miss is the bastion of modern civilization and everyone else is beneath them.

Me thinking OM is better than state at the majority of things =bastion on modern civilization.

No one makes more fun of little ole miss than I do. (Felt like such a trump line ) I hate the majority of our fans so there is plenty to be unproud about when it comes to OM.

Which do people care more about and actually affects recruiting... Players having light bills taken care of, or players getting cars and paid to not visit other schools while they are still in HS? Tunsil stuff hasn't been proven illegal, yet.

And the joke was saying our law school is superior when you don't have a law school. That would be like me saying your vet school is superior to ours. Our law school isn't elite its just the best in the state, just like your vet school. It's thought to be better than it is because there aren't many pure ag schools in the league. When it comes to pure ag schools, (MSU, Auburn, A&M) your last. An actual compliment would be that y'all have probably the best atmosphere of any stadium your size. You are clever enough to use a tradition as a home field advantage, you tailgate better than most in the country, you have an amazing fan base that will support any winner in droves, no matter what the sport.

Naw, this couple of week kick that you have been on with your moral superiority about almost every single thing you post about was what I was referencing.

I understand that with the investigation and having been lied to by every reporter that covers Ole Miss would make one a little touchy on here but damn.

There was a small stretch of time that we could actually converse about things without it turning into something stupid, which I honestly enjoyed. However, I'm sure this will be met with some sort of witty comment like, "Well when we are better at everything it's pretty easy to not have arguments", or something along those lines, which will continue the current diatribe.

So the loaner car that Tunsil drove around for however long it was, was just taking care of a player while his car was in the shop? Or was it a little lagniappe?

This is where you would tell me that my love for State and hate for OM is why I see it differently, but fail to realize that trying to distinguish one from the other is exactly what you are doing.

Couldn't let that go. The statement may be correct (I don't really know the order), but it's not like that is really a slight toward our ag school as I am sure that those three are all pretty damn good.

Dude, just break down why people get upset about cheating. Do people care what cheating goes on once a kid gets to campus, or do they care about the cheating that got them to their campus instead of yours. and stay off me on the grammar and misspelling, the last 10+ posts are via speak and type. And i wasn't taken a shot at your vet school. It's just state fans think theirs is elite like some OM fans think their law school is elite simply because it's the best on in the state, while weak nationally. I'm sure our law school is weaker than your vet school because there are far more but both towards the bottom in the league thus neither should be bragged about

He didn't, he just beat and threatened to kill his girlfriend after he spent a few years growing up in Ole Miss' program

Would the ole miss fans care to comment on Stringfellow?

Not the same at all. There was a dispute as to whether he actually knocked her unconscious or she fainted when he was trying to take her phone from her. Either way, not good. But to compare it to Simmons beating on a girl laying on the ground is not the same. And Stringfellow got kicked out of school and had to go somewhere else to start over. Simmons gets nothing.

I absolutely do not want to see the kid have his life wrecked for doing something bad once, but I think the issue people have is that there appears to be zero consequences for him while a 3* would have had his opportunity taken away.

But he wouldn't have his opportunity taken away if Mullen cut him. Freeze would sign him immediately. And tall would cheer it. And lol at trying to minimize Stringfelliw. He knocked her unconscious. A blow to her head with such force that it knocked her out. Now that's an assault. He's the only one that claims fainting. And his buds of course.

camera out of her hand which in turn hit her. You think that's the same as a punching a girl who is on the ground? But as said earlier, OM fans don't care about Simmons, it's the high and mighty bull crap we get from y'all when y'all are coming off of probation for pay for play and just let in a woman beater. Stop going so ape shite about free hamburgers and OM fans won't point out your hypocrisy

Of course. The camera hit her. Amazingly, the judge didn't believe that so its just a lie. And yall let in a woman beater and a child rapist. So excuse us for feeling a little more moral than you.

And to define these too cases in the same way is desperation and trying to find some excuse for what you saw in that video.

Clearly you never read the reports of the incident. And no, not the same as Simmons standing over the girl and beating on her. Look, I am on your side in that I don't think the kid shouldn't have a place on the team. I just think it was handled poorly when Mullen said he wanted to get more facts when the video had already gone viral and I think they should have said he could be on the team but would have to work his way onto the field by his behavior off the field. I don't think it best serves society to destroy the kid personally in addition to his legal punishment but I just think it wasn't handled well.
