Yes but I need to see more out of UGA's other RBs. Arky's are really a tandem whereas UGA, for now, is Nick Chubb. Granted, he's likely the top RB returning this year but I haven't seen Michel or Marshall step up. If Marshall ever gets back to normal then those are the top tandems. But I'd divide you into: Arky no. 1 tandem and UGA no. 1 RB.

Michel when healthy last year was 2nd on the depth chart behind Gurley if that tells you anything. He was ahead of Chubb and played great until he hurt his shoulder. We also have AJ Turman who should be ahead of Douglas on the depth chart and could jump Keith Marshall.

Without looking up his stats, I am willing to bet Derrick Henry averaged under 5 yards a carry in at least half the games against SEC teams last year. Nice to know that qualifies you as a stud.

If unproven 5 star recruits were so important to the list, you would think Aubutn would higher with 3 of them at running back

Michel had 410 yes and 5tds last year despite being hurt most of the season with a separated shoulder.
Do I need to bring up marshals highlights from the Tennessee game a few years back to show what he's capable of?
Then there's AJ turman who hasn't played yet but is a big lumbering back with a lot of love from the media after this spring

They won't lead the SEC in rushing with Johnson at QB. They will be slinging the rock a lot more this season.

Some of Derrick Henry's numbers from last year:

7 carries for 25 yards against Arkansas

8 carries for 24 yards against LSU

17 carries for 37 yards against Ole Miss

11 carries for 36 yards against Mississippi State

What a stud!

So the best you can come up with is, you think he averaged less than 5 ypc in half his SEC games last year?

Just give it up dude.

I don't know much about Turman (didn't follow his recruitment or anything) and most of what I saw with Michel is that they liked to use him as a pass catcher running the same route Bobo used to love to run with Marshall. (As an aside wonder if that will change with a new OC? I wouldn't think so but you never know). BUT I haven't seen Michel show off more than that but like you said injuries precluded seeing him get to do a whole lot. As for Douglas, I know he isn't exactly fast but he's about as steady as it gets and doesn't go down without a fight once he gets going - you could do a whole lot worse for a reserve.

UGA has options and a lot of potential there to have a great duo.

If you're comparing Marshall to the ill-fated 3-4 Sunseri/Dooely year which was for the record the worst UT defense of all time, you might want to pick another game to show Marshall can do something.

Where did I say anything bad about him anyway? I said "if he ever gets back to normal," then you'd have a great tandem. Can't take a compliment?

Not even a little bit when discussing the best RB in the league.

To be fair I bet we are both capable of rushing or receiving for at least 100 yards against that horrendously shitty defense.

Probably,but he's ranking RB's, not offensive systems.
