Last year he played like a chubby Zach Mettenberger. No mobility at all

He's by no means a runner but there were plenty of times last year where he had to scramble out of the pocket.
Funny that you mentioned Mettenberger. Statistically, Eason as a freshman wasn't that far off from Mett as a redshirt junior.

Why Pittman would sabotage his career by anchoring himself to Chaney is nuts.
Why Smart would fall for the trap of having to hire Chaney to get Pittman is even more crazy.
Pittman is a damn good offensive lineman coach but having to hire Chaney with him is not worth the trouble.
