I mean, I guess it was technically a response. But I clearly don't have to address the topic of his post.

From what I can gather from those threads, the vast majorly of Bama fans here graduated from UA, and most of the ones who didn't at least have some sort of degree from a University.

What a sad life you have

OP, obviously you aren't one of those graduates. Clearly you can see the difference in total number of graduates vs percentage of graduates in the sidewalk fan base. In other words, when talking to Bama fans, you are more likely to be talking to a sidewalker, percentage wise, than other fan bases. See folks like cajunbama and the like....guys who got the shite beat out of them in middle and high school, so in an effort to spurn their local enemies, and their desire to fit in, joined a fan base with the most band wagon riders in the country who would accept them.

This in no way helped you answer that post. In fact it supports the fact the trolls are winning. Lol

Antidotally, my experience here in Alabama is the vast majority of a Bama fans I encounter have never attend the school. I would imagine that wouldn't be the case out of the state of Alabama.

Auburn represents a city while Alabama represents a state. That is probably why less people are Auburn fans.

The vast majority of Auburn fans I know are not graduates of any school much less Auburn. The reason they don't have the bandwagoners or sidewalkers is because they cannot keep up the success that Alabama does.

The yankees are a prime example, they have fans everywhere and it's not because they are all New Yorkers.

Some of you really make a big deal out of whether a fan attended the school they pull for. I don't even know why anyone worries about it, if someone wants to be a fan, then they can be a fan.

Even being a fan is a complicated matter for some of you these days.

Bama fans are so sensitive about the dumbest shite. LSU has more fans that never attended LSU than fans that earned degrees there. I never attended a single class at LSU. I have, however, earned a post-graduate degree, just not from LSU.

means less than nothing.

It's ok to be a sidewalk fan. It's just a hell of alot different when you attend the school.

Just like if you attend the nfl team you root for it's better.

Why only use this rule in college sports?

If you attended Mike Tyson back in the day you enjoyed his wins more.
