I think Maryland (yes Maryland) would've been the better choice in the East.

Maryland isn't ideal. They'd probably be no higher than my 5th choice, at best. But they're still light years more appealing than Mizzou.

I think any SEC fan would trade Mizzou to the Big Ten for Maryland in a heartbeat. And a lot of Mizzou fans will pretend otherwise, but in reality I think Mizzou and their fans would prefer that move as well.

Missouri has contributed more than LSU over the last 5 years.

TV revenue/markets

Means nothing to me. I'd rather the school be a good fit for the SEC, and Mizzou isn't that.

The whole TV revenue/ new markets argument is not only overrated, but it's largely a bullshite argument.

Mizzou's biggest appeal was a new market. St. Louis is in Missouri, and there's a frick ton of televisions in St. Louis. Okay, that's great and all, but be honest, how many people in St. Louis tune into Missouri athletics on a regular basis, or even give a shite about Mizzou at all?

The argument against Clemson is they don't bring a new market and don't bring revenue. Bull shite. They have passionate fanbase and it's bigger than you think. And they have better athletics. A Clemson game is going to get much much higher ratings than any Mizzou game.

frick a footprint. Quality over quantity.

God,you just can't help yourself.Take a look at the new Big 10 TV contract and tell me it's "bullshite"

Can you come up with a coherent argument about anything?

Nah,NY and DC markets aren't important

BTW most some school revenues will approach $50 million depending on PPV and local cable providers.Ohio State,
Michigan and MSU should hit the mark rather easily.

Do you not know how much revenue was added to each SEC school after expansion or why it was done?

It's should...for better or worse CFB is an arms race and TV revenues are part of it.

So you're saying Mizzou took advantage of a weak SEC east (this is true in 2014 but not 2013) but Florida gets no shite for winning the east the past 2 seasons which were the worst the East has ever been probably since the existence of divisions. And you only say this because Mizzou is an outsider and your fatass hick brain can't get around the fact that Mizzou actually accomplished more than LSU since expansion so you just trash them with pathetic reasons because of jealousy I guess. That's pretty pathetic.

And Bowlcuckson raging in a thread like this is a first I must say. Pretty sure he's some liberal SJW at this point considering how much he whines on this board.

Even though A&M is some odd frickers, they fit competitively.

Mizz? Not really. They suck competitively and the off field bullshite we can do without.

If that was the case then I'd be much more liked by the Mizzou posters. Mizzou is SJW Safe Space U after all.

Btw its always amusing and a bit odd when in a sports discussion somebody calls somebody a "liberal SJW" or "Trump supporter" like assuming somebody's political leanings is some type of insult
No clearer sign that person has no legitimate comeback.

And it's almost a consensus that Mizzou does not fit in the SEC, so if that opinion constitutes "raging" then go ahead and call in the riot squad to this thread

Y'all forget that we need teams like Mizzou and A&M to stomp on.

From the A&M perspective, it has been pretty much all positives. Better product, better competition, more exposure, more rev, improved culture, improved tailgating,
Yall need to hire a better and improved HC that is worthy and qualified for the position.

There are teams that are much better cultural fits than Mizzou that we could still stomp on.

Maryland
NC State
Virginia

Those 3 are just for starters.

You think Maryland and UVA are good cultural fits? They think they are better than you and despise the SEC.

Actually what I said was "much better fits than Mizzou"

And I went to Auburn's bowl game against UVA in 2011. I'm very aware of their fanbase.

I don't know if you are just ranting to rant, but this post shows a fundamental lack of understanding of how the SEC generates revenue. It can be argued that the current model is eroding, but my guess is that won't completely occur for a minimum of 15-20 years. Would you pass up 50 million a year for 20 years for principle?

I personally hate expansion. Kick USCe, Arkie, TAMU and Mizzou out... Go back to 10 teams, play a round robin.

Better games and a better champion.
