This. LSU beats ARkansas and they can still lose the SEC championship game and be the highest ranked one loss team. they will play OU/Ok St. winner. I don't see Ok St losing this season. OU cannot run the ball and they have lost Broyles for the season. Texas Tech torched their secondary all game long. OSU will score 50 on OU

If Okie State or LSU lose a game before the end of regular season (or in LSU's case, the SECCG) Bama will be playing in the BCS NCG.

if it comes down to an undefeated LSU and a 1 loss AL, ORE and OKLA, then the voters will probably look at it this way...
Did the team win their conference?
Oregon - Yes
Oklahoma - Yes
Alabama - No
Did the team have a key game in November against a highly ranked opponent with the conference on the line? What was the outcome?
Oregon - Won (stanford)
Oklahoma - Won (ok state)
Alabama - Lost (lsu)
Alabama's only real argument is a bunch of people think they're one of the top 2 teams. But the point of the BCS is to determine a champion on the field, not match up who everyone thinks are the best 2 teams and give the winner a trophy.

Oregon vs. UCLA in the Pac 12 title game will jump Bama/LSU 11 as the 2nd highest viewed game in the history of college football. It will be a barnburner and when Oregon beats the NFL talent of the Bruins they will have no choice but jump BAMA.

Those guys at ESPN can talk all they want on their show but when it comes down to it they will never allow a team that didnt wint their conference plaqy for the National title again OK 2004 was a huge blackeye for the whole system and they will not let it happen again.

A NC team does not lose late in the season
Does that mean you've written a letter to Lsu athletics and asked them to return the 2007 trophy?

Against 5-5 UCLA, not sure how that will help Oregon in computers.

Oregon has the better list of accomplishments this season and that's why they'd get in over Alabama.

Oregon is out of it, period. Oklahoma would be the only one to pass Bama unless voters put Bama at 4 or lower in the final poll before the Bowls.
Yes, Bama will lose a little in the computers with Ga St. However, Oregon doesn't get the benefit of a bump from USC, as they are not ranked. Oregon St is 2-8, further hurting them in the computers. IF, they play UCLA, they're a 5 loss team and probably going on to be a 6 loss team, as Oregon has already beaten them. If they play Ariz St, they are a potential 5 loss team. Oregon is out of the picture unless voters are really aggregious against Bama.
Okie St goes if they win out, which I think they will. In the event they lose, it will be a 3 race heat between, Bama, Okie and Okie St, with the voters being the difference. It could be a realllllly close margin from 2nd to 4th, if that happened.

So Alabama losing to the #1 ranked team in a coin toss OT game is unforgivable because they aren't a conference champion but LSU can lose to a team outside the Top 10 and NOT be a conference champion yet that's just fine and dandy?
Oklahoma and Oregon's status of being conference champion means everything in making a case against Alabama but doesn't mean a thing if LSU isn't a conference champion either. How convenient.
If UGA beat LSU at the very least:
OU/OSU winner vs. Oregon in the national title game.

Not true at all. Oregon is sitting at #4 right now.

The conference champion isn't a rule.. and if ALL teams had one loss, LSU would clearly have the best resume. They'd be considered very heavily.. and probably make it in.
12-1 LSU, multiple top-10 wins
11-1 Bama, one top-15 win.
12-1 Oregon, road win vs top 5 team, pac12 champ
Oklahoma 11-1, road win vs top-5 team, big12 champ
etc

Amount of games is not the difference maker with the computers. If it was, Ark, Vtech, Stanford, BSU and clemson would all be ranked ahead of OK in the computer polls.
Adding one more game on a schedule means nothing, unless it is against a quality opponent.

Oh really?
Georgia Southern is ranked number 73 in the latest computer standings, ahead of PAC-12 members Washington State, Arizona, Oregon State, and Colorado.

There won't be a LSU vs. Oregon rematch. It will either be LSU/Bama vs. OU/OSU.
