You'd think smarter folks would wait until Pearl actually DID something.
That doesn't seem to keep the Arkansas fans on here from sticking out their chest over 2 SEC wins in 2 years.

Yeah, and add in Trooper & Luper & Malzhan and they were really going to take off

Look, you guys shouldn't shoot the messenger. This list wasn't composed by NtY or AUFamily rather it is the opinion of a well respected journalistic institution.
I'm simply sharing their thoughts on why they think Auburn is so much better than your mediocre programs

Was I arguing that Arkansas was #1? Didn't think so.
My comment was about Auburn, not about Arkansas.

what's so funny? Malzahn at auburn is 1-1 against richt and essentially only has an sec title as the beginning and end of his accomplishments there.
Pearl is in his first season and isn't even close to the tourney.
Are we including accolades not at their current school? Because if so we can add Fox's 123-43 record and multiple tourney bids.
There is, literally (and I don't use that word to be funny), no reason for UGA's pair to be 9 spots below Auburn's. None.

I'd swap UGA for Arkansas on that list.

If only Pearl rocked white wall sideburns like Malzahn.
Chizik and Malzahn on one sideline was literally the best shite ever.

Are you questioning the legitimacy of these rankings? They put Arkansas at #3.

Well, Bret won his bowl game, so there's that...

A UGA fan unable to be unbiased? Why I never!

I would have to agree. Considering Basketball and Football only, I don't think anyone is even close to Auburn.

Auburn football finished the season 8-5
Auburn basketball is currently 12-13
Saban and Cal alone shite on anything AU is fronting.

Interesting...how exactly am I biased? I've only made 2 claims in this thread:
-UGA should not be 10 spots lower than AU (you'd have a difficult time finding anyone that disagrees)
-said that our group is better than AU's. While that's up for debate, it's certainly not a slam dunk either way.
So tell me, what exactly am I being biased about?

how about schools who are actually good at both sports instead of only half of them?

I guess I'm just capable of stepping back and looking at the big picture, and not just relying on single season abberations.
Richt is good, middle of the league, but your basketball coach is awful.

If you did you would see that 2013 AU was an aberration and the 8-5 is a much more accurate representation of AU football in the West.
