And mel tucker isn't gonna be their coach, no chance.

Can you make a list of all of the nicknames you've used for each team in the SEC?

Probably Steele. He is a TN graduate and has some experience as a head coach. I do not know if anyone was listening to Finebaum last week when a caller called in and said he had Kevin Steele's old phone number from a couple of years ago and someone sent him an offer of $4 million a year to coach there, this was before Curry was fired. They did not believe him, but he called back from that number and that was the number Finebaum still had on his contact list. The guy also sent a screenshot of the offer. The guy did not accept the offer on Steele's behalf, would have been funny if he had.

If so, it's amazing how fast he has risen through the ranks from a high school DB coach (was not a head coach) to a Power 5 coach. Good for him.

It would be crazy how fast it was, but it's not for lack of resume. The guy sure knows how to coach defense (and recruit).

Pruitt-The University already had to deal with enough rednecks, the last thing they need is to have one for a HC.

Tucker-Very Good Coach, but is UT ready for an Afro-American as their HC ?

Steele- Good Coach with a poor HC record. Fulmer can act as buffer for him against those who do not like those numbers. I think he would be the safest pick.

All 3 have a common denominator. The last UT hire with the same factor didn't work out so well.
